I hate this so much. Her death actually bent the community with sadness. She can’t even have time for a legacy and her family has to keep battling against Ai twitter.com/ZirocketArt/st…

I just got a comment that said "they support AI bc they are against capitalism, thats why artists should work for free and give it to the public."
Ai is the epitome of what late stage capitalism is. It's mass exploiting workers for free labor to feed profits the top 1%
128
At the end of the day I don’t want my life and my personal meaning to feed a machine for others malicious uses.
To my core I hate unethical Ai.
We are not meant to program for the elite 1%. We are meant for more.

You cannot enter chess AI into a contest for chess maters, so why do we allow such tech to compete against artists?
There is no difference between a machine calculating moves in chess in a contest or a machine generating images in a contest.

It’s not being replaced indefinitely, just while it’s being displayed in other locations. However to me, this changes nothing when they held an art contest for the replacement painting.
134
The museums should be held accountable, when contacted they didn’t care it was Ai. Stop funding to art museums if they are going to replace art with Ai/ML

You can’t draw for joy, everything you draw must have profound meaning or it’s not art. Uhg twitter.com/ArtAHammer/sta…

When I said the market will be over saturated with Ai this is exactly what I meant.
This only drives the want and costs up of actual writers/artists, and when you get blacklisted as someone that’s ruined your reputation by uses Ai it’s hard to come back from twitter.com/clarkesworld/s…

This is getting out of hand and tiring.
Watermark removers are now going hand in hand with AI.
I hate this.
What is so difficult to understand that we don't want our work used?
Putting more watermarks isn't us playing hard to get, it's literally a leave us alone.
139
The craziest thing is artists have ask and stated
"Don't use my art"
and the AI/ML crowd defended that they have THE RIGHT to use our art how they see fit.
Now artists are making a program so our art will be cloaked so our art cannot be used in AI.

From the copyright office Artist's Guild for anyone that needs this:
"When commissioned to create art, an artist’s copyright is not automatically transferred to the commissioner. A commissioner will only be the copyright owner if there is a written agreement signed by the artist,

Everyone saying they feel like they wasted their lives;
No you didn't
You have something they will never have, the ability to create with your own hands
143
I've gotten an overwhelming amount of comments from artists being worried about being accused of using AI.
DONT BE
Just show that you have drawn past Aug. 2022.
Many artists did use AI when it first came out we all thought it was going to be a reference gen for us. but,

I believe this is in beta. But if you believe someone is using Ai to profit off your style / art then this might be a good legal resource to get info for a case against them. twitter.com/atroyn/status/…

As someone who went to school 6 years to code, graduated cum-laude, and was a project lead developer.
You sound dumb when you say:
“machine learning is just like the human brain”

My own art sensei at obsidian once told me
"Make sure you only draw concepts you want to work on, because they will always choose the one you don't care for".
Now I tell you - uwu

Pixiv might use your art for their own Ai. I might delete my pixiv tonight. twitter.com/jinrikioekakis…

Artist are not pallets. We are not content machines. Ai/Ml is dehumanizing.
