BTS will be featured (picked up) on Mezamashi tmrw morning! they’ll probably touch on their Hot 100 #1 victory 🤩 twitter.com/cx_mezamashi/s…

the breakdown of the BB Japan Hot 100 Chart! Butter's streams made up for around 2/3 of their points but MV plays contributed to nearly 1/4 of their points as well, even more than digital sales. I'm happily surprised with how well they did on radio, they ranked #1!!
304
alright, we got #2 for Oricon but Butter's stats are still so so amazing especially when it doesn't include anything from the first 3 days from Butter's release!! ig physicals are still much more valued on oricon than on bb japan
305
Dynamite was on the top 5 of the jpn charts for months and months bc of the gp's streams (even now, it's near the top of the Spotify charts) but we actually never got #1, it was always blocked by heavy physicals or some other factor... so I wasn't expecting a #1 for Butter at all
306
also...... Butter at #1 and also, look... Dynamite at #7. THE #7. It was destined to be
307
I'm not computing... like I was completely expecting a #2 because physicals still play such a huge role in the jpn music industry & on the charts, this is actually groundbreaking
308
we got #1 for Butter on the. HOT. 100. jpn chart without any physicals and without any sales/streams counted for the remix, in our second tracking week..... i need a moment here
309
WAIT. WE BEAT HNT46 WHICH LITERALLY HAD A PHYSICAL-HEAVY RELEASE?????????? IM SHOOK
310
and it doesn’t include streams from the remix bc they’re counted separately, butter is a hit song twitter.com/kookceptional/…
311
dynamite had 13 million streams (in a week) at max and we just flipped that entirely and got 31 million just in the second week..... the growth
312
Butter broke the record for the most streamed song in a week on the Oricon Weekly Streaming Chart!!!!!!! The previous record was 16 million streams (with Homura) but BTS broke it with 31 MILLION streams 🤩 Dynamite scored 13 million streams at its peak btw twitter.com/oricon/status/…

this might be my favorite recreation

here’s what the packaging + contents for the BTS, THE BEST albums look like! 1st photo shows Limited Edition Version A, then Limited Edition Version B, LE Version C, then the Regular Version +
317
also on the topic of streams — remixes don’t count as the same song for 🇯🇵 charts, so j-armys, focus more on the original song and just enjoy the remixes ig!
318
this might change up the streaming chart bc AM Prime is actually one of the most popular streaming services used in Jpn, even bigger than Spotify or AM! (this is from a survey done in Oct 2020 with 4.4K people so it might not be a completely accurate rep but gives u an idea) twitter.com/kookceptional/…
319
btw — streams from Amazon Music Prime members will finally be counted into the BB Japan Streaming Chart starting with the chart releasing on 6/2 (so this current tracking week!). Until now, only streams from Amazon Music Unlimited members were counted into the chart. + twitter.com/Billboard_JAPA…
320
why do they need to cut to the shots of Times Square at the most random times it’s just as bad as the award shows that cut to the audience for half of bts’ performance 😭
321
At this pace, Butter is bound to break the record for the most streamed song in a week!! It’s amazing that the first 3 days of this week gained more streams (5/24-26, 14.8m) than the streams in the actual first 3 days of its release (5/21-23, 14.02 million)
322
[trans] Butter is currently leading the BB Japan Streaming Chart for this week with 14.8 mil streams in the first 3 days (5/24-26). For some comparison, the song with the most weekly streams in history (Homura) had 7.5 mil streams in the first 3 days of its record breaking week. twitter.com/Billboard_JAPA…
