- Possibly codenamed “Hovercraft”?
- Uses JIT dynarec to emulate the N64 CPU.

There is a tweet going around claiming that Leif crashes your game if you have presents in your inventory.
This is false.
The provided proof is taken from Google Images. One shows a Switch running CFW on FW 6.0.0. The other is of Yuzu, a Switch emulator.

It is no longer possible to redeem download codes on the Wii U and 3DS.
With this change, all purchasing functionality has been removed.
You are still able to re-download already purchased software.
The Nintendo Network multiplayer servers also remain online.

Nintendo appears to be adding code for the Killer Wail in Splatoon 2. This includes code which draws the "shot guide" (where the Killer Wail beam will hit). There are also new test maps with "megaphone" in the name, which is part of the Japanese name for the Killer Wail.

A rebootless update for 14.1.2 was released. It changes the bad words list.
The list appears to have been reshuffled.
Some new entries were also added, including ahegao in Japanese, a misspelling of the C-word, and crude ASCII art of a penis.

There is no support for the Controller Pak. (It let you save in titles that have cartridges without battery-backed memory.)
Because of this, you *cannot save your game* in WinBack unless you use save states. You cannot save ghosts in MK64 either. twitter.com/itbetheplantma…

- The ability to send friend requests via friend code was added.
- You can now create a QR code and URL of your friend code which you can share with others.

Some wanted to see the proof for Windows 98, so here, I suppose.
I opened ver. 3.1.0 in a disassembler (IDA Pro), and found checks for the following OS:
- Win 95
- Win 98
- Win NT
- Linux
- PlayStation 2(?)
None of them are actually used and they all return ‘no’.

The legend himself, Matt, may return in Switch Sports.
However, I have only found his name. There is no file which describes how his Sportsmate avatar looks.
(While there are 100 CPU bot names, Nintendo seems to have made only 20 Sportsmates as of now.)

About the All Stars N64 emulator:
- Shindou Pack ROM is used (no BLJ for you).
- Texture, code, and text translation patches are applied on the fly (interestingly, first person camera has inverted controls vs original).
- Oddly, also uses Vulkan API?
