1. This is a short thread about the infiltration of totalitarian CCP propaganda machines, their assaults on democratic traditions and an appeal to actions in UK. The Chinese Communist Party tries to get a free pass on their appalling human rights atrocities. We must stop them.

The way CCP propagates its smearing is disgusting. CCP depicts all Chinese as dictators' followers, stigmatizing the people's image more than anything else. Millions of Uyghurs are in concentration camps due to the CCP's hatred towards religions and diversity. So hypocritical.

@AlvinYeungnk , @KwaiLamHo , @LesterShum and many other primary election candidates are arrested. @joshuawongcf is in jail and cannot update his status through social media, but it is believed that he is also facing national secutiy law charge. Please support them. #StandwithHK

Do these people know what are “united front” activities? It’s a series of state-led propaganda that promote autocracy and undermine democratic values. I suggest that they look into these concepts before accusing me of “serving interest of imperialism.” It‘s absurd and hilarious. twitter.com/qiaocollective…

PLEASE SPREAD: Anti-mask law has only been enacted twice in Communist China's history: First: XinJiang Second: HongKong Is the concentration camp coming to Hong Kong? #FreeHongKong #DemocracyNow

Let me make it clear: the root cause of the escalation of the use of force by the protestors is the police acting with impunity, so that the protestors have to impose even the slightest deterrence effect. Best way to deesculate: implement democratic accountability on police. twitter.com/KasiaMadera/st…

We are grateful to the UK for offering sanctuary to three million HongKongers. Now we need to see a unified and forceful response from all nations that respect democracy to contain the new Chinese expansionism – or Taiwan will be next. mol.im/a/8490243 via @MailOnline

VETO the EU-CHINA CAI. // Statements of concern and condemnation are not enough — and trade or investment agreements with autocracies are even worse. For Beijing, these signatures on agreements are green lights to continue their actions with impunity. // washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/…

Autonomy, democracy and the rule of law are the fundamental values that Beijing promised to implement in Hong Kong. We are asking them for honor their words, nothing more, nothing less. #HongKong #HKHRDA

Art in Hong Kong— we are afraid of police violence, but we are more afraid of losing Hong Kong. #HongKong #DemocracyNow

Another disgusting persecution by the CCP. twitter.com/nytimes/status…

got into the carriage and indifferently beat up all the people in it regardless they are protesters or simply passengers. They ignored the weapon guidelines and fired tear gas indoor in the carriage which is in fact lethal.

A CCTV with technology that tracks Uyghurs. This is extremely worrying and proof of how surveillance technology is manipulated by CCP to conduct ethnic cleansing. twitter.com/ipvideo/status…

The largest independent workers' union HKCTU disbands under the pressure of the Chinese government. In Beijing's eyes, workers' rights threaten their complete control of society. If anyone on the left believes China's "socialist system" is worth following, they miss vital facts.

Same thing happened over and over again. It is not a sin for people to fight for their rights and their future. Say NO to police brutality. We hold hands in the journey to freedom. #PoliceBrutalitiy

I agree that there is a serious public health emergency, but I have no confidence in China given to their track record of concealing information and falsifying records. The outbreak is huge -- and I strongly advise that everyone in the US to be aware. gu.com/p/d72d5/stw

[🗳️Popular vote] Shall the UK govt enact Magnitsky Act to sanction the Chinese & HK officials who are responsible for the human rights violations in #Xinjiang and #HongKong ? 🔥

To retaliate against democratic countries' sanctions, I suggest that all the family members of the CCP's leadership should abolish their foreign passports to show their determination and patriotism. It does not make sense when they keep escaping to "hostile foreign forces."

Taiwan has every right to host Speaker Pelosi. This is not a provocation - it's just a govt doing what govt does. Allies now must state clearly that any military threats from China are intolerable. We must step up and deter Chinese dictators from launching another unprovoked war.

While China's actively making friends with Taliban, HKG is arresting students for "advocating terrorism" because of their speeches. How sarcastic it is. Four Hong Kong students arrested for ‘advocating terrorism’ theguardian.com/world/2021/aug…

The experience of Taiwan in fighting the pandemic is invaluable. It's unthinkable that Taiwan is excluded from sharing its expertise with allies because of the political blackmail from CCP. Thug politics overrode saving lives - It's unacceptable. #LetTaiwanHelp. They deserve it.

Global issues, such as public health and climate change, should be seen as ways to boost cooperation between democracies and pressure authoritarian regimes. The incoming administration should not fall into the trap of believing the CCP’s empty promises. washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/…
