[Stalker got caught & jumped over metro turnstile to escape] Getting dogged by police, pro-China paparazzi and other unknown persons has been a part of my daily life, but this time I’d like to share a rare and hilarious scene of an amateur stalker running off when he got caught.

I found a group of suspicious men wandered around. My friends then decided to trail one of them back with camera. Suddenly, the stalker made a dash and jumped over the turnstile to steal a metro ride. I hope next time they will be more professional and won’t make a laughingstock!

5. Despite crackdowns, our brave Thai friends now defy the new law & flock to streets to protest against tyrannical rules. On their fight for #DemocracyforThai, we should not let them fight alone. #LongLivethePeople! #15ตุลาไปราชประสงค์ #MilkTeaAlliance

4. Once their voices are silenced, It becomes imperative for us to continue speaking out for them. To prevent #FreedomOfSpeech from being stolen from this country of creativity, #Hongkongers and the world need to #StandWithThailand and spread their words. #FREEDOMFORTHAI

3. Under the decree, media meltdown was imposed, banning media nationwide from publishing news or info (incl online) that are regarded by the regime as “inciting fear among the public”. International media like @BBCWorld and @CNN covering #ม็อบ14ตุลา in Thailand were blocked.

2. At least 27 activists, including prominent figures Anon Nampa, Prasit Karutarote, Parit “Penguin” Chiwarak @paritchi, Panusaya Sithijirawattanakul & Nutchanon Pairoj, were arrested. Police can intercept citizens’ communications, impose travel bans on Thais & deport foreigners.

[The world please stands with #Thailand] 1. To stamp out pursuers for #Thailanddemocracy, a sweeping emergency decree was just announced, under which #Thai government banned mass gatherings, imposed media meltdown and can mobilize troops to crack down dissents.

I’m forever grateful to his vocal support to our democracy fight. Kretzmer’s lyrics compelled us to realise the ultimate goal of our long struggle to freedom is love and compassion to one another. Will you join in our crusade, who will be strong and #standwithHK?

4. It turned out that on a typhoon-struck Tuesday, I enjoyed some tranquility at home celebrating with a Pokèmon #Pikachu birthday cake. Probably the most fortunate day in this year of adversity with #corgie wearing the cloak of #ScoutRegiment in #AttackOnTitan.

3. All I wish this year is another birthday meal with my family next year, the safe return of the #12hkyouths, and the release of thousands of freedom-seeking #Hkers now detained in prison. #save12

2. Under #Beijing’s grip, when blank placards are regarded as subversive, w/ liberal books pulled from libraries and #TiananmenSquareMassacre censored, no #HKers can tell whether they'll be safe in the next minute. All we can do is fighting for the best & preparing for the worst

[Birthday amid turmoils] 1. Today is my 24th birthday, but it has already been celebrated ahead of time in June, days before the enactment of the sweeping #nationalsecuritylaw.

[Coming out to vote shows that you care about the future even if you don’t support any candidates on the ballot] Commenting on democratic erosion, I pleaded for all to exercise their right to vote while HKers can't even have the right to elect the leader. patreon.com/posts/42734163

Instead of having #iPhone12, I wish to #SAVE12. @save12hkyouths #save12hkyouths

Emperor Xi is keen on forcing HK onto a path very much resembled Eastern Europe during the communist rule. However, I think resistance will carry on in the dark. We don’t do things because it has a great chance to succeed, we do because it is the right thing and it makes sense.

[Conversation with Cardinal Joseph Zen and @FT Asia Editor @JamilAnderlini in Forum 2000] The lesson in Czechoslovakia and Poland tells us that eventually, total conformity is what an authoritarian regime wants. Isn’t history repeating itself? patreon.com/posts/42731417

World’s leading scholars on China have called for an international front in defense of university freedoms. They emphasized the increased Chinese threat since the passing of HK’s national security law that I also experienced day-by-day. theguardian.com/education/2020…

2/ China is also gearing up for its punitive diplomacy. A few weeks ago, Beijing introduced the vaguely worded “unreliable entity list”, under which CCP leaders have full discretions to impose economic sanctions on businesses that perceivably don't bow to its political red lines.

3/ As these risks will become the new normal, it becomes imperative for all businesses to consider diversifying their markets to migrate all these pitfalls posed by over-dependence on a single region. usatoday.com/story/entertai…

1/ Underneath #BTS saga, there are worrying signs of escalating Chinese nationalism & tensions between China & the world. In post-pandemic era, political uncertainty piles up as it becomes even more unpredictable to anticipate what issue will strike Chinese nationalists’ nerve.

I believed #MilkTeaAlliance could create a “pan-Asia” grassroots movement that would draw more attention to social causes in Asia. “Be it Belarus, Thailand, or other places where injustice is happening, we are constantly fighting for the same beliefs." theatlantic.com/international/…

As @hrw mentioned, I believe countries should refuse to vote for unfit candidates. It's really insane for China that upholds wolf-warrior diplomacy has been elected to the UN human rights council again. The world should hold China's accountability. theguardian.com/world/2020/oct…

6. In the face of all these uncertainties, it becomes more imperative for me to use every remaining moment in the city's fight for liberty and justice. Therefore, I will continue standing with freedom-loving #HKers and fight for a better future for the city's next generations.

5. Being barred from leaving #Hongkong, it is hard for me to pursue further studies overseas, let alone high uncertainty about when I will be thrown into prison again. The clock is ticking on the days that I am still free.
