He claims to be re-developing Nakivubo Stadium at a mind-bending cost of UGX 737 trillion (USD 200B)! Meanwhile, the most expensive stadium in the world, completed in 2020, cost only UGX 20 trillion. Uganda's budget for 2023 is UGX 50 trillion. Our GDP is about UGX 156 trillion.

As is our tradition, we shared scholastic materials with the children and extended support towards school fees. The criminal regime continues to cause pain to so many Ugandans, but I am convinced that they will reap what they have sown in abundance. It's only a matter of time.

Today, we met with over fifty families of our comrades who were abducted and are still missing, those who are in detention, as well as those who were killed by the regime. We shared a meal, prayed together and yet again reminded the nation about their plight.

The last time Sanya protested in Court over this same sham 'trial', he was punished with an 8-month prison sentence before the trial even kicked off. He came back stronger and more determined to resist the oppression — as we all should!
