Under the law, a candidate is permitted to have two agents at a polling station. Their role is to ensure there's no rigging at the station. With observers thrown out and Museveni doing everything to frustrate, the call is for all citizens to be vigilant & protect their vote.

The military & police are arresting people found distributing appointment letters for our polling agents ahead of tomorrow's election! In Lira, Moroto, etc, persons coordinating this are detained & materials confiscated. The EC is yet to respond to our urgent calls to intervene

So, the private security company that has been guarding my home for the last 12 years has been ordered to withdraw security at my house. Their supervisors showed up unannounced at midnight, disarmed my guard and said they had instructions to immediately withdraw my security.

Military men raided the workplace of one of our comrades Elijah Mukiibi Kaate, a 24 year old who worked in Kiseka market as a mechanic. He was shot in the stomach & today morning, he passed away.

Apart from arresting my campaign team & security team, for over a month now more than 2000 NUP supporters have been picked up from their homes in the dead of the night and detained in unknown locations! Living under a dictatorship is such an experience!
