Like many of our supporters, they were eventually forced to plead guilty to the charges of putting on military uniform & released this week. They return to broken families, no jobs, etc. For no crime! God willing, there will be justice for all these crimes against humanity.

There are some comrades who they tried to conscript into these kinds of games after torturing them, and when they refused, they threatened to kill them. Many of them are in exile! We have also noted the empty claims that NUP abducts its own supporters using drones.

the Chief of Defense Forces. Recently when they abducted and raped comrade Marinos, they quickly called a press conference and downplayed the heinous crimes. They did the same for Kakenza, Masereka, etc. The examples are endless.

We used the press conference to call upon all Ugandans of good will to protest against Gen. Museveni's terrorist regime that continues to cause so much suffering to our people. How does Museveni face such young children, whose parents he has abducted or murdered?

We pray that God will protect him and shield him from the evil schemes of the enemy.

Massive procession in Bugiri to and from the Nomination of our comrade in struggle Asuman Baaalirwa. Now headed to Hindocha Primary school grounds for our first rally. Nothing can stop the power of the people from deciding how they should be led. #UnityInDiversity #PeoplePower

Like I said in my speech, the best way we can pay him back is to continue fighting for justice and the rule of law, which he cherished so much. Grateful to all who joined us and ensured we gave him a dignified send off!

Yesterday, the meeting in Mbarara had to be done secretly and the police only got to know after it had ended. The military and police commandeered by the DPC and RDC violently attacked them and arrested several of them. Those severely injured include our head of Mobilisation...

You can imagine the pain with which he demands to be given a prison sentence or killed altogether instead of being forced to continue suffering for no crime at all but his political opinion. We shall overcome! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners #BringBackOurPeople

So many are being picked up by uninformed, heavily armed operatives and taken to unknown places. This very evening, we have been informed of the violent abduction of Aheebwa Rodgers a journalist who runs an online platform called FlashLightUg.

Yes comrade @norbertmao! Thank you for reasserting this message of Unity because A PEOPLE UNITED CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED. It also says in Mark 3:25 that a house divided against itself cannot stand. When we all speak with one voice, the dictatorship will be in deep trouble. twitter.com/norbertmao/sta…

Upon landing at Entebbe airport yesterday afternoon, I was immediately arrested by people in police uniform and others in civilian attire. They grabbed me from the tarmac, took away my walking stick and grabbed my red beret off my head!

For that, we hold her in the highest regard & know that the future will vindicate her the same way it did the late CJ Benedicto Kiwanuka. We stand with Justice Kisakye, just like we do all such other public servants as have maintained fidelity to the law & to our Country.

It defeats logic that you have schools at all levels open, and the largest University in the country is still closed to very many students. Many have been arrested & others suspended! Power to you comrades. Thank you for standing up for your rights. #WeAreRemovingADictator

We called upon the international community not to look on as these crimes against humanity are committed. I tasked all NUP leaders to rise to the occasion and prioritise this matter which touches the lives of our people.

Inspired seeing young women courageously protest injustice in the face of brute force. Afraid of the population, Pres. Museveni criminalised this constitutional right & will respond to any protest with extreme violence! Our struggle is about ending this wanton abuse of the law.

Sad Prof. Mutebile has joined the long list of prominent Ugandans who have had to die on foreign land, most frequently in Nairobi. There has been no serious effort to uplift healthcare in Uganda. Those who can afford will be on the next flight abroad. We must reverse the trend.
