I reminded them that it is okay to enjoy their youth for as long as they do not confuse enjoying their youth with destroying their future for everything they do now must reflect the kind of people that they'll become.

Spent the afternoon with the 'father of Constitutional law' in Ug; Hon Justice Prof. Dr. GW Kanyeihamba. Discussed pertinent issues as regards the state of our nation. I always look up to such outspoken & uncompromisable statesmen. #Freedom

We've been told they were driven to Kireka while blind folded! We demand for their immediate release l. Defending human rights is not a crime! We know this arrest is intended to frustrate the ongoing investigations into violations. #FreeNicholas #FreeNUPLawyers #FreeUganda

Grateful to the people of this area for such a warm reception. I challenged them to be challenged by this elderly comrade, who despite his advanced age continues to struggle for a better country.

I appreciated them for defying so much intimidation and remaining committed to the cause. I tasked them to do even more work in the coming days and months to further the struggle against military rule.

Glad to join the first episode of @ResistBureau on July 8. I'll join @advocatemahere and @TunduALissu to discuss ways in which dictators are using the coronavirus to attack democracy, but also how we can fight back. To join us live, register here: theresistancebureau.com

In my article to @VanguardAfrica, I call for more solidarity & collaboration as we face the #COVID19 pandemic. I also call for alertness- repressive regimes should not take advantage of this crisis to increase violence against citizens and abuse rights. vanguardafrica.com/africawatch/20…

It's imperative that leaders & gov't officials worldwide take concrete steps to not only respond to the unique needs of women during this crisis, but to also take the culture of violence against women seriously and make serious policies to effectively end it.- @Smith_JeffreyT twitter.com/Smith_JeffreyT…

The good news in this is to clearly show how desperate his regime is! By the time a supposed head of state engages in such stunts, it's clear that he feels the heat. We shall never slow down or give up. Our pursuit for freedom shall end in victory. #WeAreRemovingADictator

I ask all Ugandans to refuse to be intimidated and show up in big numbers for the #WomensMarchUG on Saturday, 30 June as we demand that both Police and government protect the lives of all Ugandans and demand justice for all the victims whose lives have ended tragically

Masereka's case is one of the many we've filed before courts and other institutions. But these institutions are so weak and intimidated. That's why we filed a complaint at the International Criminal Court. Victims need justice. We want accountability for crimes against humanity.

Thank you 'first lady' for representing the future. #FunaNdagamuntu

I wondered whether Mr. Dollo would have the guts to look Ben Kiwanuka in the eye if he were alive today, considering the Dollo-led Judiciary's complicity in the oppression of citizens by the regime which uses the judiciary as another tool of oppression.

@TrevorNcube @AsaphAfrika Thank you @AsaphAfrika for these words of encouragement! Africa will rise. Africa will be free.

Unbelievable! Eight months and the scars visible, some wounds fresh. They speak of how soldiers beat them up, cut their bodies, placed burning cigarettes on their private parts, and injected them with unknown substances. All this while, their arms were tied to the back.

I told him how we are encouraged by their example to soldier on daily, through trials & tribulations, in our quest for freedom, justice & equal opportunity. It was humbling & uplifting to pray with him, for our country Uganda & the continent of Africa. Such a historic encounter.

I thanked the pilgrims for such a warm reception and explained to them that our message is not divisive but unifying. I explained that our struggle is about human rights, better education, better health care, good roads, markets for our produce, etc.

But again, comrades, this can only remind us of how deep our country has sunk when it comes to impunity. That's why #WeAreRemovingaDictator

If our own MPs, elected by us, cannot listen to us on anything, including redeeming us from exploitative taxes, then we must realise that WE ARE ON OUR OWN and work each day to liberate ourselves. No one else will do. Teli kuzikiza. #Twebelelemu #PeoplePower

Regarding our meeting with the mobilisation teams, our coordinators submitted the letter of notification to the DPC but the DPC sent them to the RPC who sent them to the IGP! You can imagine the level of fear the illegal regime has for the PEOPLE.

Many guests have been arrested and some injured in the ensuing commotion after the armed brutes fired projectiles into the peaceful crowd. One day, someone will have to account for these crimes!

for simply coming out to pray and stand in solidarity with us. We are coming together as the #UnitedForcesOfChange. God willing, we shall accomplish the mission.

The regime is at it again, abducting people every day with no shame whatsoever. Like we always say, there can be no peace unless and until Gen. Museveni and his criminal regime are out. No one is safe under this environment. #StopAbductionsUganda #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda
