On arrival, they took us to a hotel owned by an NRM chairperson & said they had booked that place for us. They insisted we must address our people from a place far away from town & attempted to block us from proceeding to Kitgum.

The lawlessness and impunity must be fought, resisted and defeated. This is our country.

Thank you @SenateForeign for speaking out about the ongoing abuse. The world must take take stand against the blatant acts of torture, illegal detentions, outright election fraud, etc. #WeAreRemovingADictator twitter.com/SenateForeign/…

As NRM MPs, Ministers & RDCs move around (often in NRM attire) distributing food surrounded by crowds, they found it convenient to arrest Hon. Zaake for donating to starving residents. Even when his agents handed out carefully packed food house to house! It's clear why #FreeZaake twitter.com/DailyMonitor/s…

Eliminating corruption, (not in word but action), increasing efficiency in public administration as well as fostering discipline in the management of public resources would go a long way to improve the well being of our people. #WeAreRemovingADictator

Thulani Maseko has been hailed for his courage in fighting Eswatini’s absolute monarchy. He faced long periods of detention and solitary confinement, but never gave up. The movement for freedom across Africa has lost an incredible icon. May his soul rest in power!

They'll most likely even fail to implement it and keep pushing it ahead because most of the money is stolen or wasted. Our pledge wasn't only about pay. It was about improving the welfare of the men and women in uniform and all public servants such as teachers and health workers

They would rather torture people, but do everything possible for the world not to know. Too late for them, the evidence of their crimes is available to the whole world.

Like many others, his story is difficult to listen to. He says he was hit severely on the head during interrogation. Among others, they asked: "Who funds NUP?" "Why do (boda-bodas) follow Bobi Wine for activities?" "How much does he pay you to support him?" A criminal regime!

I appreciate these comrades for their continued commitment to the values of democracy, good governance and the rule of law. Was also particularly glad to meet with renowned journalist and lawyer, General Twaha Ulimwengu.

I thanked the parents (and in some cases grandparents) for the great work they have consistently done in taking care of these children amidst very difficult circumstances. I implored the children to go back to school and work very hard to see that they make their parents proud.

She has been living in Mbuya, not very far from the CMI facility. Before this ordeal, she had been warned against playing "Bobi Wine's music" and ordered to stop supporting us- else she would face dire consequences! They made good their promise in the most evil manner.

Museveni would badly want us to forget about this, but these memories will live on many years even after he is gone! One wonders how the shameless old man goes around holding himself out as an elected leader! There will be #Justice4Uganda! Let's continue praying and working hard

... comrade Nyanzi Fred Ssentamu and one of our local coordinators Musinguzi Ibrahim. They were both rushed to Kyenjojo hospital where they are receiving treatment. Our other comrades were violently dispersed. We condemn this criminality in the strongest terms.

When we can, we shall, but don't wait for us to tell you what to do. Think about what we can individually and collectively do to put an end to this madness. #WeAreRemovingADictator

Alongside Ugandans of good conscience, we join the world in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, more so, those who have lost loved ones, and the tens of thousands fleeing their country. Muhoozi must be happy seeing little children in the cold, trying to find refuge.

Today, I woke up with good vibes and with plans to visit and address our people in Kira Municipality with comrade Hon. Ibrahim Semujju Nganda and fellow other Members of Parliament. We also had plans to plant a freedom tree at the home of Hon. Semujju... 1/2

Every time they murder someone, security agencies will claim the person was violent towards them. But as we know, so many Ugandans (including me) have been framed with bogus, untrue claims by the regime. There must be due process of law. #M7NovMassacreUg #WeAreRemovingADictator

The repression continues everywhere as security forces intensify the crackdown on all pro-democracy actors. Dr. @kizzabesigye1 is still detained at Nagalama having been blocked from addressing the people in Bugiri. When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes a duty!

On the eve of elections, Facebook detected and removed several such accounts, prompting Museveni to ban Facebook in Uganda to date. Very glad to see that Twitter has taken a similar step and we hope the dictator will now not ban twitter as well.
