The pictures from Karamoja Sub-region are most disheartening. Very many Ugandans are being murdered in cold blood. The efforts to end this nightmare haven't been serious. The people of Karamoja have been asking critical questions and getting very few answers from the authorities.

Denmark, see you tonight.

Yesterday, it was our honor to host Muslim brothers and sisters to a Duwa and thereafter Ifta dinner at our home in Magere. Very grateful to all who turned up for this event, which has now turned into a tradition for our family. Wishing all Muslims a blessed end the Holy month.

Our friends from abroad have attracted the wrath of the state for openly supporting our struggle for freedom. Today international icon @YvonneChakaX2 was deported from Uganda. Whatever reasons the security agencies give, we all know the regime is afraid of her SONGS OF FREEDOM!

The Military and Police have yet again blocked us amidst a swamp on our way to Alebtong, no one is talking to us and we are blocked in front and from behind. As for now, we can not know what their plans are.

In our address to the country today, we: 1. Welcomed the Resolution by the European Parliament discouraging International companies from developing the East African Crude Oil Pipeline until the 🇺🇬 Gov't guarantees human rights for all affected citizens.

For over a week now, this activist called Nakimanya Hellen aka Aunt Kaduuka has been under illegal detention at SID Kireka! She was violently arrested, apparently for using social media to expose the dictatorship! The 48 hour rule totally ignored. Why #WeAreRemovingADictator

What is happening in Soroti must be condemned by all citizens. The panicky regime is arresting leaders and polling agents to ensure Hon. Attan Moses isn't declared winner. The very things they did in Kayunga and Omoro! To the people of Soroti, please stand firm!

Unsurprising that rather than take action against its corrupt staff, Entebbe Airport management is hounding those who would have exposed them. You can't help but pity anybody who continues to give this regime any benefit of doubt!

The people of Luwero have made it unequivocal that they have a duty to remove the dictator they helped create. For them, it has been a story of betray and shattered hope. They are taking the leading role in the struggle for freedom and democracy! #WeAreRemovingADictator

I condemn the violent arrest of young activists who went to Parliament to deliver a Petition and protest against the continuing violation of the rights of Ugandan immigrant workers. Listen to the pleas of Ugandans stranded abroad, intead of brutalising those speaking about it!

The military & police have blocked us from addressing the people of Kibaale district as scheduled! They are now blocking us from proceeding to Hoima district! It's hard to believe that a regime, one time so glorious, is now this scared of the people.SHAME #WeAreRemovingADictator

The regime thinks by abducting our people, they can break the resolve of the citizens. So far, over 10 comrades have won elections for different positions while under detention, or those who were abducted without trace. The dictatorship should be very worried. These NUP women leaders gave us a lesson in courage. They took to the streets in a peaceful protest against the continued illegal detention of our people and the unmitigated abductions of citizens. #BringBackOurPeople #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda #WeAreRemovingADictator

We are headed for Luuka where we shall hold our first meeting of the day. From home, people be waiting on road sides, to wave to us, our plea is that the security agencies stop brutalising these unarmed citizens. #WeAreRemovingADictator

After 21 days of severe torture at CMI Mbuya, Kasese NUP Registrar Samuel Masereka & two others were taken to Kireka, charged with 'subversive activities' and released on bond. These are pictures of Masereka's body upon release! It is time for the world to stop watching on!

Absolutely detached from reality. How sad, that he thinks his closure of Facebook in Uganda actually hurts Facebook more than it hurts the country! He even thinks he chased Facebook out of Uganda😅😅.....the last I checked, even Police makes daily posts on Facebook.

Spent part of today visiting mzee Moses Nkonge Kibalama, former NUP President. Despite the past challenges, we have continued to be in touch and to offer support to him and his colleagues in their different endeavours. We are glad to see that his health has greatly improved.

Earlier today, we went to Kigo Government prison to check on our detained MPs, Ssegirinya Muhammad and Allan Ssewanyana. We found them in high spirits although sickly and frail after they were violently arrested and tortured. We continue to demand for their unconditional release.
