This evening as Kiryowa Kiwanuka concluded his lies about torture at the UN, comrades from the Ugandan diaspora in Switzerland went in and courageously confronted him! SUPER PROUD OF YOU LADIES. Thank you for making sure that the shameless lies do not go unchallenged.

Despite the hurdles last night, we started the day in high spirits; not allowing these trials and tribulations to break our resolve. Kyankwanzi has been great. The yearning for change is all over the nation. #WeAreRemovingADictator

Even sending 100k to the very first recipient of 'COVID relief' proved too difficult. "Ministers" in their numbers gathered in full view of the media to make a phonecall to a fake recipient. What a joke! The entire system is dead- right from the top. #WeAreRemovingADictator

Following the efforts to repatriate Ugandans stuck in the Middle East, over 100 have been repatriated today courtesy of the authorities in UAE. The effort is paying off. Unfortunately, most were hijacked from the airport but some managed to find their way to the @NUP_Ug office.

"What shall separate us from the love of God? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? .... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Romans 8:35 Happy Sunday folks

Apparently, a private company registered in the United Kingdom is the one in charge of 🇺🇬's oil. Key members of the company "are" sons & daughters of @KagutaMuseveni's corrupt relatives & Ministers, some of whom stole donor funds for HIV/AIDs patients. Stinking hypocrisy!

This would be funny if it were not an ugly representation of the dire state of our roads — especially in what is supposed to be our capital city. One wonders what those who have spent 37 years ruling over our country feel about their record.

Time will come when people start leading themselves, not following politicians. Infact it'll be the people leading, the leaders following. It will mark the end of the M7regime. He survives by buying off leaders of the oppressed. This time the people will be too many to buy off.

Such an honor to connect, @cthagod. Thank you for using your greatness to make the world a better place for brothers and sisters near and far. None of us is free until all of us are free. #RealRecognisesReal

Barbie & I thank you all for our wedding anniversary wishes. We sat down & watched the play 'LADY, WILL YOU MARRY ME?' in which we performed 19 years ago. This is how we met. I was acting as Mr. Cat & Barbie as Lady Mouse. We're sharing this 2 hrs long play on Facebook today, 4pm

Our comrades appeared at the General Court Martial today for a bail hearing. They have yet again been sent back to Kitalya Prison. The quest for justice and freedom might be long and sometimes frustrating, but in the end, every pain and effort will be worth it. #Akatengo

Saddened by the passing of Hon. Patrick Okabe, MP for Serere and his wife + driver in a car accident this morning. Deepest condolences. May his soul rest in peace. We've already witnessed many road accidents this festive season. I call upon all road users to be cautious.

They remove or hide number plates. Some cover faces so no one identifies them. They remove name tags off uniforms. It's clear they come with orders to commit crime. These too are Ugandans under captivity- ordered to carry out atrocities on their own people. They too need freedom.

THEY ARE BACK. As we register several new cases of state engineered abductions, all political activists need to take some precautions. 1. Try to have airtime at all times. 2. Don't move alone, esp at night. 3. Don't open for people you don't know. 4. Avoid meeting strangers.

The military court has today yet again remanded 18 of our 35 comrades at Kitalya. They have been on remand for close to 5 months without trial. Glad to receive the 15 who have received partial freedom with stringent conditions. We shan't rest until we're all free in our country

I am a free Ugandan with the right to move freely in my country. The police has no business telling me who receives me and who cannot or where I go and where I cannot. This impunity must stop now. Wama see you friends tomorrow. #PeoplePower_OurPower

In 2018, Uganda's security presented these guns and claimed they found them in my hotel room, to justify my arrest and torture to near death. Tonight, 49 friends are spending the eighth night in detention over similar charges! We are not giving up! We have more reason to struggle

When I sang, "Afande (Officer), I am not fighting you, I am fighting for you," such are the conditions I had in mind. These brothers and sisters live in pathetic conditions. Majority of them detest the corrupt regime. One day, they'll have the courage to stand with the people!

This afternoon, it was a pleasure meeting with the leader of Jamaica, the Most Honorable Prime Minister Andrew Michael Holness. Among other things, we discussed the role of music and the arts in a nation's development.

Such heartwarming news! Delighted to learn that after 8 years under military detention in the DRC, our brother and comrade Sam Mugumya is free. Testament to the enormous sacrifices many people have had to make in pursuit of freedom and democracy for Uganda! We shall overcome!

Nalubowa Teddy, 27 unapologetically supports @NUP_Ug. On Sunday, she was arrested by armed operatives led by one Mugisha Godwin from her home. Her whereabouts are unknown- suspected to be at CMI. In the past, many female supporters have been subjected to torture & sexual assault

Police has written to me about this route as I go for nominations tomorrow. Today, we saw people mobilised by NRM standing along different roads, guarded by the police, unmolested. WE HOPE THE POLICE WILL BEHAVE THE SAME WAY IF OUR SUPPORTERS STAND AND BY THE ROAD TO WAVE TO US
