At today’s meeting with @IRIglobal President @DCTwining & #Asia Director @johannakao, our discussions centred on the challenges #disinformation poses to democracies like #Taiwan & the #US, as well as how we can work with organizations like IRI to address these challenges.
As many counties & cities in southern & central #Taiwan are currently experiencing torrential rain, I have instructed all relevant agencies to remain on high alert & do everything possible to help those affected.
Despite exclusion, Taiwan is still committed to sharing expertise in health insurance, disease prevention & other health matters in Geneva

Today we opened the Global Smart Machinery Development Center & the Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Production Site in #Taichung. I have every confidence that these projects will help #Taiwan become a global leader in the machinery sector.
#Taiwan’s small & medium enterprises are the backbone of the economy & employ 80% of the workforce. The government will continue supporting #SMEs so they can reach full potential & take national development to new heights.
