We’re rolling out an update that better identifies notes that are broadly found not helpful. This boosts the average quality of notes contributors see and rate, making better use of their time and energy.

Starting today, you’ll get a heads up if a Community Note starts showing on a Tweet you’ve replied to, Liked or Retweeted. This helps give people extra context that they might otherwise miss.

Today we accepted the first Community Notes code change from a member of the public. For the first time ever, we’re now scoring and displaying notes using code written by people outside the company. Incredibly exciting, and we look forward to more. github.com/twitter/commun…

Just launched an algorithm update that keeps note statuses and contributor impact scores more stable as we expand Community Notes. In addition to helping going forward, it boosts existing contributor impact scores by better recognizing helpful past contributions. Details 🧵

Sometimes notes seem plausibly correct, but careful raters identify inaccuracies or inconsistency with sources. To strengthen note accuracy, we're rolling out a new algorithm update that builds on tag filtering to identify rating patterns that suggest a note may contain… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
