2/ Everyone buying a main home under £500,000 will pay no stamp duty at all. It takes effect today until March 31st 2021 and means 9/10 people of main home buyers will pay no SDLT at all.

1/ Today I held talks with my IMF counterparts on our global approach to coronavirus.
I reiterated the UK's commitment to help the world's poorest countries recover from the outbreak - doubling our £2.2 billion loan to the IMF's Poverty Reduction and Growth Trust.

9/ For renters, I’m announcing today nearly £1bn of support by increasing the generosity of housing benefit and Universal Credit, so that the Local Housing Allowance will cover at least 30% of market rents in your area.

Alongside the action we’ve already taken this year today's measures will ensure:
The vast majority of households receive £550.
Pensioners receive £850.
And almost all of the eight million most vulnerable households will receive support of at least £1,200.
