We’ve just signed a landmark £1.9bn deal for British-designed missiles in Poland.
As well as bolstering European air defences, this deal will support highly skilled jobs in both countries, creating better-paid jobs and growing the economy.

In 2019 we promised to recruit 20,000 additional police officers in England and Wales to make our streets safer and protect communities.
Today, I’m pleased to say we have delivered that promise.

We're working flat out to halve inflation & grow the economy, but I want to make sure everyone can have peace of mind with the cost of living.
That's why we’re continuing to support vulnerable households with £301 from today – the first of 3 payments in 2023/24 totalling £900.

The Government has begun a large-scale evacuation of British passport holders from Sudan on RAF flights. Priority will be given to the most vulnerable, including families with children and the elderly.

We’re determined to rid our streets of dangerous weapons. Today we’ve set out new plans to ban machetes and ‘zombie style’ knives.
