I’ve personally gotten many emails from artists thinking of stopping drawing to thoughts of unaliving. This is more serious than the media let’s on.
Many of the users are older and do not understand how it’s hurting artists and think “capitalisticly” this is an easy $ for them. twitter.com/tprstly/status…

Lol how to improve your Ai, “hire an artist” twitter.com/JensClaessens/…

From this post just stating we have a way to protect ourselves I receive way to much direct OH comments.
Does anyone see how odd this is? We just simply say don't use our artwork, and we will protect ourselves, to these kinds of comments.. twitter.com/ZakugaMignon/s…

Pixiv might use your art for their own Ai. I might delete my pixiv tonight. twitter.com/jinrikioekakis…

“Why are artists so protective of their art? They should just let me use it for my marketing for free”
This is the same ppl that got mad when we pushed #CreditYourArtist
This entitlement is what is growing Ai. There will always be ppl that believe they are entitled to our work
108
The system of “you will be compensated for your contribution in AI” is bullshit. One you cannot track it, and I don’t want to be forced to be a part of this. My art is already everywhere in romance indie cover using Ai. I DO NOT want to be forced into my own oblivion.

Everyone is going to have to put on their America hats and sue. I’m sorry but this is what keeps music safe and as soon as music AI makes money you bet they will be sued into compliance.
This isn’t over, artists can keep suing, they have no right to use our artwork.

7 years ago I drew this Tifa Lockhart
This is also why you rarely see me post personal “new” artwork
I started working professionally about 7 years ago
This year I aim to draw more for myself

We have been saying for months that AI should not have used our artwork. We have said AI under law even if a "derivative" cannot compete in the same market.
These have been hurting many by exploiting artists to replace them within their own field by using their art. twitter.com/JonLamArt/stat…

I’ve gotten DMs of ppl asking if they are being petty but you have to realize:
Working professional adults are using our art for their promos, covers, and videos and telling us to shut up when we ask them to stop using Ai.
It’s not petty to ask them to stop.

About 4 months ago I was talking about how they will use their “research” and a “non-profit” as their scape goat.
Do not support anyone using Ai/ML it’s stolen goods. Do not buy their books, or buy their music using AI images as their covers or animation. twitter.com/franklingraves…

Japan has lost its touch with reality, this will kill the industry of animation. The economy is not going to get better with stealing from your animators.
Why would anyone care to invest when they can do the exact same for free? twitter.com/StabilityAI_JP…

Emad, with all due respect there was no collaboration between artists and AI. You are being more transparent than most ML currently, but your openness has also allowed specific prompt training, models which include less than 200 images, images that target my style. twitter.com/EMostaque/stat…

124
There is a site selling prompts trained on particular artists and their artwork.
This is disgusting.
Do you really think you are an artist? How can you even call yourself artistically inclined if this is what Ai ppl are resorting too?

This is really informative for animation. This isn’t about the short term if these Ai layovers look bad eventually they WILL look good, and this could affect animation and anime. Do we really want to lose what we love? twitter.com/G0ffThew/statu…
