Slowly we are bringing change to the world, Japan is slowly becoming aware AI/ML is stealing and harassing artists ゆっくりと日本に変化をもたらしました! twitter.com/nhk_nw9/status…

Can we start cracking down on image theft ML now? Clearly we all knew it was going here. twitter.com/tprstly/status…

We have been saying for months that AI should not have used our artwork. We have said AI under law even if a "derivative" cannot compete in the same market. These have been hurting many by exploiting artists to replace them within their own field by using their art. twitter.com/JonLamArt/stat…

Grimes wants to eradicate copyright but keep 50% of profits made from her voice in AI? lol NO that’s not how this works. If you don’t have ownership of your voice no one owes you anything twitter.com/Grimezsz/statu…

The audacity of generate this in your style “Please do not copy or upload”

Anyone saying AI/ML is a “tool” is so stupid. No it’s not in anyway. Not only is it a finished piece it’s just stealing from other artists. A “tool” is using built in perspective grids, a “tool” is using a textured brush. A tool is to help, not overriding the process

American's now is the time to write your Senate Armed Services Committee. These laws for AI/ML are being developed as we speak. Later this week I will release premade letters for artists to send out, please change and edit them how you see fit. #SupportHumanArtists twitter.com/MAiJiNTHEARTIS…

Remember authors that you need to fit into a narrowly defined trope based on years of popular books written by the ones allowed to write books. Perfect, this is exactly what originality needed, ML rating your books! twitter.com/JackHarbon/sta…

Donald Glover is looking to hire Ai prompters to probably make music videos like we have seen with Linkin Park and Corridor. It’s incredibly disrespectful to artists and animators There is a spot to email him on the page. You can send polite emails telling them what ML is doing.

These are not i2i these are text based prompts from a trained model. Meaning that These ML are actually just infringing on artwork to try and recreate them based on descriptions. MLs would be considered a remix of original which needs permissions from the copyright holders. twitter.com/itzmoepi/statu…

I wish artists had lawyers and agency like this. We need to look into some kind of union twitter.com/9to5mac/status…

There will always be a place and jobs for artists, there will always be places that are ethical. Remember that ML NEEDS us to improve and grow. This is why it's so important to start using Glaze. Yes I know it marks up the artwork, but this is something artists have to do

-Ai works like the human brain? Machine learning =/= Ai learning. If it were like human learning or Ai it could learn to respect artists' choices, however it can’t. It’s just code. It could learn to develop its own art styles. It cannot. twitter.com/RonDanChan/sta…

I need everyone to understand when talking about imitative AI it is not photobashing, it is training then rebuilding the images. Everything online is just data, so the rebuilds are also just data. This is plagiarism with an added step.

Exactly, pro artists using imitative Ai to sell out other artists are not realizing this Ai is not meant to keep them, they are replaceable and their messages are reading clear to the companies seeing their posts. AI is stealing from you, to replace you. twitter.com/JonLamArt/stat…

There will always be a place for artists, there will always be jobs for artists. I think many of you should pull back from AI topics for your mental health. But I do know there are people out there like @emishson that is studying to be an animator that set up a meeting AOC and..

If you are a starting artist don’t stop drawing and don’t give up. Please note my tweets are not intended for starting artist sometimes and sometimes directed at working artists. I’ve seen way to many people working in art giving advice on imitative AI and …

My real advice for just basic protecting yourself is to take down your art and re-upload with all the art being Glazed. That is the first thing I would do. The new version is out. Next I would find my local rep and email about the privacy and data laundering in AI.

You don't have to donate but its here to share gofundme.com/f/protecting-a…

and yes, 100% AI would be nothing without our artwork. It's only that good bc it's stealing our artwork. That is why we need to team up to fight for ethics. Write govs, sue, follow politicians ask them to look into it, raise awareness about the dangers of this tech.
47
Dangerous rhetoric when politicians are saying your private data, photos, and copyrighted artwork is being used in a regulated manner. If this is true nothing anything anyone, any game, any move posted online is safe. Imitative Ai is highly unregulated. twitter.com/BedoyaFTC/stat…

"AI will never be as good as a human or capture the emotion" Do you think a company cares about the emotion for their ads? Or do you think they just want content to push out in the styles they want? These are ALL 100% AI. This is why drop the "AI isn't good" .yes. .it. .is.

You will never beat something that is living on your hard work. The harder you work, the better the machine gets. You WILL NOT beat Ai by thinking “I’ll be better”. This is why you have to 1) Write your government. 2) Sue. Sue. Sue.

I actually applaud the usage of Midjourney like this, it shows the dangers of having tech that trains on personal data, photographs, and artwork. If this is today, images a year from now? It will be an unbelievable hostile internet environment. twitter.com/EliotHiggins/s…
