The end goal of Ai/Ml is for corporations to charge you money from nothing and pay no employees so they can maximize profits.
It would be a good model if this wasn’t capitalism at its extreme of exploitation and theft.

They might be worried about the copyright offices revoking and all the companies being sued right now

I actually applaud the usage of Midjourney like this, it shows the dangers of having tech that trains on personal data, photographs, and artwork.

It came full circle, people are saying WE should be grateful for the EXPOSURE that AI/ML gives us.
So it really was at the end about stealing our work because no one believes artists should be paid fairly for our labor and years of training.

and yes, 100% AI would be nothing without our artwork. It's only that good bc it's stealing our artwork. That is why we need to team up to fight for ethics. Write govs, sue, follow politicians ask them to look into it, raise awareness about the dangers of this tech.

I have really mixed feelings of authors using Ai/ML images for their marketing and supporting the writers strike and to not pirate their work
1) Artists need all the support we can get (seems like we are bottom of the food chain in ML)
