Another blatant example of CCP’s political suppression. Disgusting. twitter.com/hkfp/status/13…

This looks terrible. Accepting "Xi's speech" from this awful ambassador -- I see it as an insult to the democratic values that we all share.
Stop helping CCP to spread their propaganda and infiltrate the democracies. This is an extremely bad move from the new British Ambassador. twitter.com/CWilson_FCDO/s…

Washington must craft a China policy that puts human rights front and center, but without neglecting the urgent need, too, for environmental protection, greater respect for labor rights and fair trade.

The purposes of the national security law in Hong Kong are quashing freedom of speech and allowing arbitrary arrests. Period. twitter.com/joshuawongcf/s…

1. Academic freedom in #HongKong is in grave danger.
The Chinese University of Hong Kong issued several policies to cut the student union's lifeline. The school says the union's speeches infringe the National Security Law and decided to kick them out from the school's system.

On #WorldPressFreedomDay, we commemorate brave journalists who work at the frontiers of conflicts and suffer from political suppressions due to their investigations and reporting.
From #HongKong, #Myanmar, #Thailand, to #Belarus... they are there to safegarud truths. Thank you!

Threatening to boycott Olympics helps democratization -- the case of South Korea shows it. The world should now boycott 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and stop funding CCP to torture its people.

All the hate crimes against Asians MUST stop. Especially those who target them because of their discontent towards CCP — many Asians don’t even support the autocratic regime.
Be a responsible person, don’t cast your anger to the innocent people.
Hate crimes MUST stop.

I am very honored to announce that I am invited by @POTUS to deliver a remark in The Summit for Democracy on 10th Dec.
The remark serves as a bridge between sessions on "protecting human rights" and "defending against authoritarianism." The voice of Hong Kong will be heard.

Law called on the international community to put human rights above the financial interests of trading with the world’s second largest economy and to “multilaterally deal with the China issue in a more assertive way.”

//I am proud to be a Hongkonger, and I will never abandon the pursuit of democracy, which is ingrained in our identity. Even though I am in exile, and have said a seemingly eternal goodbye to the city I love, I do not regret my choices//

The crowd chanted “CCP step down!” on the streets of Shanghai.
It’s been a few hours since the protests started and there’re no signs of a major escalation of the situation. Still, this is a VERY significant moment. twitter.com/whyyoutouzhele…

2 years ago I was bailed out from prison and subsequently appealed the case. Nevertheless I have served part of the imprisonment. There are lots of political prisioners like me still in the jails of Hong Kong and other parts of the world. They need our blessings.

當政權要求你「愛國」,一切聽黨走時,你有想過國家愛你嗎?
中國的白紙示威過後,很多人都在想這個問題。於2019年初,我在一場公聽會中,曾經以香港人的身份回答過。
