Death toll rises with more bloody crackdowns in Myanmar. The world must act promptly and forcefully to stop the military from butchering the Burmese. The world needs more policies to protect global democracy and lives, with real deterrence to the dictators. ACT NOW. #Myanmar

Friends from #MilkTeaAlliance and democratic countries, I think all of you should be concerned with the latest developments in #Myanmar: Mass military presence, firing at citizens, internet cutoff… A potential massacre is happening. Let's keep tweeting and supporting them.

I am still very worried about my dearest friend Agnes Chow, who is still in prison and suffering from political suppression. Hope that the governments in democratic countries can put more effort to pressure the Chinese regime to release political prisoners in Hong Kong. twitter.com/nathanlawkc/st…

Well, at least we know that Chinese Officials are unable to answer the simplest question about the Xinjiang Concetration camp. How pathetic these Chinese Communist officials are. twitter.com/BBCPolitics/st…

While the graduates of CUHK waved flags and chanted slogans to support the HK movement, the school decided to report the incident to the National Security police and put their students in danger. They may face years or even life imprisonment if they were convicted. How cruel.

(forwarded) What's happened in the past 30 hrs: Jimmy, convenor of CHRF, attacked; Andy, convenor of National Party, arrested; KP, applicant of Yuen Long march, attacked; Joshua and Agnes of Demosisto, arrested. Hong Kong has become an authoritarian police state.

We can all ask our friends in telecom industry to verify it. It's important that we can have information on what's happening in there and try to act in advance to protect citizens there. It's a long process to build an internet firewall -- the free world should act immediately.

In case you have never seen it, this is how Google warns you when they detected government-backed attackers are hacking my accounts. It happens to less than 0.1% of all users, and I have been receiving the same alarms for years. Guess which government sends these attackers?

#SummitForDemocracy Intersession Remark: We must leverage all we have to ensure that democracy’s revival is our top priority. Dedicate this speech to all my friends in Hong Kong. @POTUS

[Letter to @DominicRaab: UK govt should sanction HK officials responsible for human rights violation] Under #NSL, it's important that we adopt swift counter measures. Glad that 19 Parliamentarians supported this letter and urged the UK government to act. #StandwithHK

Never forget how the Hong Kong police terrorized and assaulted citizens two years ago. Full-geared special force rushed to the station and attacked passengers indiscriminately. Many were severely injured, yet no officers are held accountable. It's an eternal scar in HKers' heart.

Yes indeed. If there is a CCP-controlled thug who had attacked protestor and hide in the UK, it will pose huge threat to the HK pro-democracy activists in the region. CCP-controlled thug should not saty in a democratic country, no doubts. #721 twitter.com/lukedepulford/…

Thanks for the statement @DominicRaab . It’s time to sanction the infamous Carrie Lam under the Global Magnitsky Act and send a signal to the CCP that the freedom loving countries will hold them accountable. #UKsanctionCarrieLam twitter.com/DominicRaab/st…

Thank you so much @lukedepulford for your tenacious support on Hong Kong democratic movement. It is a pleasure to be able to meet you.

The police fiercely slammed his head while he was arrested and without any forms of resistance. Reporters tried to capture the scene with a close distance but were warned to be arrested with obstructing officer if they continue. Enormous facts are concealed in a police state.

The speech from #BTS in #UN was touching and I hope that the encouragement also applies to the freedom fighters in Hong Kong. The message from #RM is the part I like the most. Keep your faith in the darkest time. #StandWithHongKong
