Chief Executive Carrie Lam says that no banks are willing to provide financial services to her. Not even Chinese state banks.
Her salary is paid in cash and she can only spend in cash.

I decided to flee to the UK for a greater consensus in the EU on being assertive to the CCP. EU should be in an alliance that sees China as a threat to global democracy and adopts coordinated actions to curb its autocracy. HKers are leading the battle.

As a person who suffered from autocracy’s continuous suppression, I am devastated to see so many in the west take freedom for granted.
