Normally, it is not possible to enter the Chief Chilly Challenge extra course in Super Mario 64 DS as Yoshi. However, bringing Yoshi to the Chief Chilly battle through the use of hacks or glitches reveals that Chief Chilly has special unused dialogue for this occasion.

The final level of Mini-Game Island in Mario Party has the player compete against Toad in the Slot Car Derby game. If Toad wins this game, the screen fades out without a message. However, hacking the game to remove that effect reveals that Toad's victory message is "ALL WINS!"

In Donkey Kong 64, there are books on the shelves in the log cabins in Crystal Caves. The covers of all these books read "Monkey Book of Science, by M. Nuts". Due to the very dim lighting in the cabins, these are hard to see; I have increased the contrast in the image.

Unused "Yoshi Nozzle" found in the data of Super Mario Sunshine. It replaced FLUDD's head with a Yoshi head and would have presumably had some sort of licking functionality.

The Skulking Around museum level in Yoshi's Crafted World contains a somewhat hidden exhibit: an armless Yoshi statue that can only be seen when the intruder alarm is active. By targeting its plaque, the camera will focus on it. It can also be seen from behind on the flip side.

In the first mission of Pianta Village in Super Mario Sunshine, three Chain Chomplets must be brought to a pond, where they will burrow into the sand (top). However, the ground in that spot is so thin that they burrow through to the underside of the village (bottom).

In the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. 3, the Fire Flower has eyes under nearly all circumstances. However, receiving a Fire Flower from a Toad House briefly shows it with its eyes missing. It is the only object that changes its appearance in this manner.

In Paper Mario: TTYD, entering a building and then clipping back out lets Mario walk around the area with most graphics unloaded, but the collision still present. Talking to NPCs will make the tail of the speech bubble point at Mario, making it appear as though he was speaking.

Unused model of Mario found in the files of Pikmin. The model is notable for giving Mario a brown-colored, rather than black, mustache and adding folds and creases to his clothes that are not present in this magnitude on even his most detailed models to date.

In the earliest Japanese version of Super Mario 64, there are four arrows floating around the top of a pole in Rainbow Ride. These resemble arrows displayed when positioning items in a level editor and may be a remnant of the level design process.
