Never before in centuries of parliamentary history has the House of Commons listened to an address like that given by President @ZelenskyyUa today.
We will employ every method we can for however long it takes to ensure Putin’s invasion fails and Ukraine is free once more.

I have been proud to serve as leader of the Conservative Party for the last three years, winning the biggest majority for decades, getting Brexit done, overseeing the fastest vaccine rollout in Europe and giving vital support to Ukraine.

We are telling cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants to close tonight as soon as they reasonably can, and not to open tomorrow.
As far as possible we want you to stay at home.
That’s how we can protect our NHS and save lives.

I have never been more certain that Ukraine will win.
Britain will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Ukraine for as long as it takes.
Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
131
We should help the Ukrainian military not only to take out drones and missiles, but also to take out launch sites. That is the way to protect our Ukrainian friends and to bring the war to an end as soon as possible.
132
133
Happy birthday @ZelenskyyUa. Your heroic leadership is an example to the whole world. I wish you all the best today and always. Slava Ukraini!
134
I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
135
I’ve answered a few questions about Brexit, the economy and Marmite.
Watch our first election broadcast now.

In the 100 days since Putin’s barbaric invasion, Ukrainians have fought back with supreme courage and dignity.
Our support for Ukraine will never waver until Ukrainians enjoy the peace and freedom that their heroism deserves.
137
Our mission is clear – diplomatically, politically, economically – and eventually, militarily – this hideous and barbaric venture of Vladimir Putin must end in failure.
138
Thank you to everybody who’s doing what I’m doing, working from home and stopping the virus spreading from household to household.
We’re going to beat it, and we’re going to beat it together. Stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives. #StayHomeSaveLives
139
I want to say a huge thank you on behalf of the whole country to everyone working in our NHS, for all your hard work at this difficult time.
140
We will be out of the EU on 31st January. We will invest billions more in our NHS. We will level up and unite our country. #PeoplesGovernment

I've just spoken to @POTUS and updated him on my meeting with President @ZelenskyyUa in Kyiv this weekend.
Our joint focus remains on supporting President Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom.
Putin's barbaric venture cannot be allowed to succeed.
142
It’s outrageous that a chemical weapon was used against Alexey Navalny. We have seen first-hand the deadly consequences of Novichok in the UK. The Russian government must now explain what happened to Mr Navalny – we will work with international partners to ensure justice is done.
143
I want to thank the emergency services and members of the public for their immense bravery in responding to this suspected terrorist attack at London Bridge.
This is an appalling incident and all my thoughts are with the victims and their families.
144
We are sending new ambulances, fire engines and funding for health experts to help the Ukrainian people deliver vital healthcare and save lives.
The UK is helping to strengthen Ukraine’s capability to make sure Putin’s brutal invasion fails.

It is truly fantastic news - and a triumph for British science - that the @UniofOxford /@AstraZeneca vaccine has been approved for use.
We will now move to vaccinate as many people as quickly as possible.

Congratulations to @sugawitter on becoming Japan’s Prime Minister. I hope your appointment and the historic Free Trade Agreement we secured last week take the already rock solid relationship between our countries to new heights. おめでとうございます! 🇬🇧🇯🇵
147
Please be reasonable in your shopping, be considerate and thoughtful of others as you do it.

As General Eisenhower said, when Allied troops landed on Normandy’s beaches that June morning in 1944 the eyes of the world were upon them. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere marched with them.
77 years on, we thank and remember them. #DDay

The second reading of the Withdrawal Agreement Bill has passed - which means we are one step closer to getting Brexit done 🇬🇧
150
Let’s make the EU take their threats off the table.
And let’s get this Bill through, back up our negotiators, and protect our country 🇬🇧
