I campaigned in 2019 to recruit 20,000 new police officers to cut crime and make our streets safer.
Today, that commitment has been met. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, and to all our officers who work tirelessly and put their lives at risk to protect us.

Excellent that govt is pressing on with Great British Nuclear, including small modular reactors. Investment in nuclear energy, including large GW-scale reactors is vital. This clean, reliable and affordable source of power and long-term energy security in the UK.
