Thank you to everyone who is saving lives by staying at home this weekend. I know it's tough, but if we all work together and follow the guidance we will beat #coronavirus. #StayHomeSaveLives

Racist thuggery has no place on our streets. Anyone attacking the police will be met with full force of the law. These marches & protests have been subverted by violence and breach current guidelines. Racism has no part in the UK and we must work together to make that a reality.

To the people of Ukraine: Slava Ukraini. To the people of Russia: I do not believe this war is in your name. This crisis, this tragedy, can and must come to an end. Because the world needs a free and sovereign Ukraine.

Monti (aged 8) wrote to me asking if Father Christmas will be able to deliver presents this year 🎅🎁🎄 I've had lots of letters about this, so I have spoken with experts and can assure you that Father Christmas will be packing his sleigh and delivering presents this Christmas!

This England team deserve to be lauded as heroes, not racially abused on social media. Those responsible for this appalling abuse should be ashamed of themselves.

Alexey @navalny's decision to return to Russia after being poisoned was a truly brave and selfless act. In contrast, today's ruling was pure cowardice and fails to meet the most basic standards of justice. Alexey Navalny must be released immediately.

I spoke to President @ZelenskyyUa earlier to reiterate the UK's unwavering support for Ukraine – we will supply vital defensive aid for as long as it's needed. Thank you for your friendship Volodymyr, you’re a hero, everybody loves you.

This country has made a huge effort, a huge sacrifice, and done absolutely brilliantly well in delaying the spread of the virus. But in this fine weather, please don't be tempted to break the regulations. I urge everyone to stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives.

Congratulations to Ukraine for winning the @Eurovision Song Contest 2022. It is a clear reflection of not just your talent, but of the unwavering support for your fight for freedom. Incredibly proud of @SamRyderMusic and how he brilliantly represented the UK tonight.

My thoughts are with the people of India and rescue workers in Uttarakhand as they respond to devastating flooding from the glacier collapse. The UK stands in solidarity with India and is ready to offer any support needed.

She showed the world not just how to reign over a people, she showed the world how to give, how to love and how to serve. It was that indomitability, that humour, that work ethic, that sense of history which together made her Elizabeth the Great.

When Ukraine wins, that is a message that will be heard around the world. So let us help them win, not next year or the year after, but this year, 2023

Utterly appalled and saddened to hear about the despicable attack on Shinzo Abe. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

We stand side by side with India in the shared fight against COVID-19. Vital medical equipment is on its way from the UK to India to help stop the tragic loss of life from the virus and we’ll continue to work closely with the Indian government during this difficult time.
