Koko-chan the cat was acting strangely and staring into an irrigation channel. When people investigated, they found a man had fallen in and was unable to move. The man was rescued and today the local Toyama police awarded Koko-chan with a bag of food!

I used to wonder what privilege poor white people have. I grew up in a white family on welfare. It was hard. It really sucked. But I was still privileged because I was able to go to a good school and get a good education—this is a privilege that many poor black kids don’t have.
