20~ years ago, FGC decided to ban ALL macros because "they're not in arcades". I played Guilty Gear on pad at the time and suddenly couldn't use the RC/FD macros I learned how to play on. I ended up quitting FG's for a bit.
I hope every new Fighting Game has a Dash Macro.

I hate how this "FGC Arms War" narrative became a thing when it does not apply to 99.9% of people playing Fighting Games.
For the 1,000th time: It does not matter what YOU play on. Use whatever YOU like or find comfortable. A controller won't make you a better player. Just play.
