When we sing "Tulivimba mu Uganda empya" (We shall move with swag in a new Uganda), we summarise what our struggle is about- DIGNITY. We struggle to end the indignity which the citizen of Uganda is subjected to in various ways. This picture only captures part of that indignity.

Today, Gen. Museveni, the Chief Priest of corruption was invited to speak about corruption. This is what he had to say: "Be careful with lifestyle audits. We are lucky the thieves are still keeping the money here. They build Five Star Hotels." Corruption is the air he breathes.

Regime operatives have been on rampage these past days abducting our people in hundreds! The new excuse is that they beat up an NRM thug called Majambere at late Jakana Nadduli's burial, after he threatened to shoot them, and later promised to kill them.

The Uganda Prisons doctor confirms author & activist Kakwenza Rukirabashaija has scars of wounds on the back, the buttocks, thighs and hands! Overwhelming evidence of torture at the hands of SFC! Simply unacceptable! There MUST BE ACCOUNTABILITY for these crimes against humanity!

What a sad day! It'll be hard to come to terms with the fact that Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata is no longer with us, but that's life. From Allah (SWT) we come & to Him we return. Deepest condolences to his family & the Muslim fraternity for such a loss. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

To Namboole stadium admins, FUFA officials used in such dirty games, know that Ugandans are watching. No matter how much pressure you get from the regime, always do your job without fear or favor. Positions you hold are public ones & you must never use them against the people.

Spent the day in Serere rallying support for our senior comrade and friend, Hon. Alice Alaso of ANT. We know that Gen. Museveni continues to vulgarise elections and rig them with impunity so as to make the people completely lose hope. 1/3

Exactly two years later today, we've never forgotten you comrade. We've never forgotten who ended your life. We've never given up on the cause for which you paid the ultimate price. Keep resting well, Francis Ssenteza Kalibbala. #WeAreRemovingaDictator

"Not all teachers are teachers and not all of them are worth remembering". That's one of my favourite quotes from Dr Patrick Mangeni, my University lecturer; the greatest teacher I know, the man who taught me literature & drama at @Makerere. Thank you sir for the lessons.

After illegally blocking our Prayers at Nsambya Sharing Hall, we went ahead and held them outside the closed gates. I'm sure God heard our prayers- what is left now is for us to do our part! The cowardly regime enforcers have arrested over 20 of our comrades! @kizzabesigye1

"There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest." ~ Elie Wiesel. Today, these 28 comrades who have been imprisoned for 2+ years, yet again protested against their continued detention without trial!

Our symbol was gazetted last Friday and we can now officially use it. This is the symbol which will appear on the ballot paper against the names & images of all NUP candidates at all levels. Tell your friend to tell a friend to look out for the UMBRELLA. #NUPEveryWhere

Yesterday, I was honoured to take part in the 79th World Film Festival in Venice, Italy. I am humbled that a documentary film on our struggle to #FreeUganda of tyranny for the past 5yrs was selected to be among the top 20 films in the world to grace this festival.

A fuel crisis orchestrated by the regime's poor planning and extortionist approach to COVID. Parents unable to take children to school over hiked fees. Unexplained school fires. Hawkers, bodas and other low income earners hunted down. Regime's response? Propaganda against NUP!

These past days Gen. Museveni has splashed out billions of tax payers' money bribing weak-willed leaders & individuals to denounce the People's struggle in Uganda. Shockingly, the latest victim is Mr. Nkonge Kibalama, our past President! Nothing ever saved dictators from falling

This morning we had a good meeting with the mayor of Lviv City @AndriySadovyi who has helped over 6.2 million Ukrainians go through his city to safely since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February this year.

A committed young man with a young beautiful family and big dreams, but you put all that on the side for the sake of your country. You mean a lot to so many Ugandans but you mean extra to me as a person. You took the shot that was meant for me.

In our address to the country today, we: 1. Welcomed the Resolution by the European Parliament discouraging International companies from developing the East African Crude Oil Pipeline until the 🇺🇬 Gov't guarantees human rights for all affected citizens.

Notice that it's a full house whenever Parliament debates 'disciplinary' action against Madam Anita Among's critics. But the MPs will be 'busy' elsewhere when Parliament is debating critical issues. Trust Among to raise a mob when she wants some mob justice against her 'enemies'!

Comrade @AidenKaliisa is a strong @NUP_Ug supporter. On Tuesday they tried to abduct him using a drone but he was tipped to run away! Instead, they took his wife Fiona to try and get to him. Since Tuesday, no one knows where Fiona is. The sheer lack of shame! #BringBackOurPeople

Was very pleased to address the Ugandan diaspora yesterday on the theme: "Strategy for Sustainability." I continue to thank the diaspora for the great effort and contribution towards the liberation of their country. The highlights of my address: m.facebook.com/story.php?stor…
