Uganda's problem is Museveni and military rule. Our struggle must always be a Ugandan struggle. I have rallied the people of Soroti to turn up and vote, but most importantly to guard and defend their vote. I have no doubt in my mind that victory will be on the side of the people.

What is happening in Soroti must be condemned by all citizens. The panicky regime is arresting leaders and polling agents to ensure Hon. Attan Moses isn't declared winner. The very things they did in Kayunga and Omoro! To the people of Soroti, please stand firm!

I converged with fellow leaders from change-seeking forces including NUP, FDC, JEEMA, PPP and the PFT. We shared thoughts, but also communicated to our people on the general way forward in the wake of the sham elections we have witnessed of late: in Soroti, Kayunga, Omoro, etc.

We have committed ourselves to using upcoming elections to organise+rally the population to defend their democratic rights. We must decisively end the electoral madness that has bedeviled our country. The next time we go into an election, if we do, it won’t be business as usual!
