Lt Col Namanya Napoleone Kyabihende, Director Operations Military Police (previously SFC) commanded the brutalisation of journalists and leaders at UN Office yesterday. He was named in the shooting at Kasubi tombs on 16th March 2010 which saw several people dead and injured!

He commanded the military interception on us in Busega on 27th December 2020 as we rushed Ashraf Kasirye to hospital after he was shot on the head during our campaign in Masaka.

In Busega, as we pleaded to be allowed to rush Ashraf to hospital, Napoleon and his men, driving a military police truck run over our comrade Frank Senteza and killed him. Some of our comrades were brutally beaten and are still nursing wounds.

For 29 days, Kajimu Umar who does stationery work for us has been under military detention. He tells of a horrifying ordeal- beaten, forced to roll on ground several times, electrocuted! Saw horrendous things there. He was eventually release yesterday.

Today, we announced our decision to withdraw the election petition from the Supreme Court. The Court has manifested unprecedented bias, partiality and double standards. Declining our request to file evidence was the last stroke. We are taking the case to the Court of the People.

Checked on 20 year old Luzige Masudi who is on treatment after sustaining bullet shots in the chest and mouth. On 18th Nov he was returning from buying food when a military car stopped him & without question the officer fired two bullets at him. These crimes must be accounted for

In this video, a man who was arrested 4 years ago by security forces in Uganda recounts his ordeal, including torture by water boarding. He was only released yesterday after the state lost intereat in the case. These crimes must and will be accounted for.
