More than 24 hours after his brutal arrest & detention in Nalufenya, Bobi Wine has been denied access to his lawyers & his medical team! Only army & police officers have access to him. The violation of his rights with impunity must be condemned by all persons of good conscience.

This morning we're scheduled to be in Kyegegwa district. The police arrested many of our team members throughout the night. This morning, they have cancelled the venue which we booked to address our people from & are asking us to look for another venue!

In Kyenjojo, blocked from accessing town. Taken to a place deep in the village. We're followed everywhere by teargas trucks, police pick-ups with soldiers, mini-buses which effect arrests etc. All meant to scare people, but PEOPLE are refusing to submit!

Health in Kyegegwa District. (UBOS Census Report of 2014). 47.6% households were found to be 5 km or more to the nearest health facility, 6.1% homes had access to piped water, 2,752 households had no toilet facility,90,345 (98.8%) households were not living in decent dwellings

In Fort Portal, it was a hailstorm of bullets and teargas as police & the military tried to prevent people from coming out to listen to our message! Despite all this, many people weathered the storm and turned up! Thank you. Uganda is ready for change!

Hoima, we were forced to use a very long route & arrived towards close of campaigns. The military yet again blocked us. They've followed us to our hotel and surrounded it- heavily armed military personnel, including non-uniformed ones travelling in a numberless military vehicle!

We paid to appear on Spice FM Radio in Hoima. As soon as I got to the radio this morning, the military and police raided it and ordered the host to immediately stop the talk-show! As these violations go on, the Electoral Commission looks on. UGANDA WILL BE FREE. WE SHALL BE FREE
