Yesterday, we filed a suit in the Chief Magistrates Court in Mbale, against the state and individual officers who blocked us from speaking on radio & used excessive force against the people. We shall continue to use all legal avenues to pursue the rights of all Ugandans.

Exactly two years ago, my driver Yasin Kawuma was shot dead in Arua. Since then, dozens of People Power supporters and activists have been murdered, abducted or tortured. As we remember fallen comrades, we renew our commitment to the pursuit for justice & freedom.

Today, police & military blocked me from appearing on BCU Radio in Mbale. They mounted road blocks along the way but we made it to Mbale. They blocked the entrance to the radio, and fired teargas and live bullets. We shan't stop at nothing in our struggle to end this misrule!

Today was yet another great day as dozens of city leaders including the Speaker, and other prominent artistes joined the #NationalUnityPlatform. It is not by mistake that hundreds line up every day to receive NUP Membership cards. This is a revolution for a new generation

Yesterday, we were very delighted to receive 84 artists, entertainers and other media personalities into the National Unity Platform. There are few things that give me as much satisfaction as a leader as seeing artists get directly involved in the affairs of their country!
