Comrades Nubian Li, Eddie Mutwe & over 18 others are being held in a military barracks. Lawyers, family & doctors have been denied access to them. The comrades at Masaka Police (over 90) were badly beaten last night. The more they become desperate, the more they become reckless.

Bobi Wine stepped out of the car to question military officers why they were shooting at him and his team. This was their response! - Admin

Reports of the continuing ill health of Rt. Hon. @JacobOulanyah have been of great concern. Over a week ago, I spoke to some family members and extended wishes for a quick recovery. All of us, despite our different political affiliations should unite and pray for his recovery.

This morning we're scheduled to be in Kyegegwa district. The police arrested many of our team members throughout the night. This morning, they have cancelled the venue which we booked to address our people from & are asking us to look for another venue! #WeAreRemovingADictator

Shamelessly Mr. Museveni brands me enemy of Uganda's progress! Mr. President, your first name is corruption, second liar, third despot. You've ran down our country, killed our people, destroyed institutions and rule us through the barrel of the gun! You are the enemy of Uganda! twitter.com/BBCAfrica/stat…

I've been blessed and touched, how will I ever thank you oh lord? They keep fighting me but I am not giving up. May the stream of Zion fill my spiritual cup. Jah give me strength and protection day and night. #ChosenByGod #Destiny

"Not all teachers are teachers and not all of them are worth remembering". That's one of my favourite quotes from Dr Patrick Mangeni, my University lecturer; the greatest teacher I know, the man who taught me literature & drama at @Makerere. Thank you sir for the lessons.

The news of the passing of Archbishop Desmond Tutu is very sad. A giant has fallen. We thank God for his life- a purposeful life, truly lived in the service of humanity. May his soul rest in peace. Condolences to all people world-over who were touched by his life and ministry.

"House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: but a prudent wife is from the Lord.” Proverbs 19:14 Thank you @BarbieItungoK for that special touch ALWAYS. #BehindTheScenes #3rdNovember

I continue to encourage friends and comrades to find time and read books. We must defeat the saying that if you want to hide something from an African, put it in a book! So today, I shared a list of 10 books which I've found insightful for friends to read over the next 6 months.

On our way to Kyankwanzi via Hoima, all roads were blocked by police saying they had orders not to allow us through. We decided to spend the night in Migera but DPC Patience Namara and OC Byarugaba ordered all hotels not to host us. We're now stuck and sleeping by the roadside.

Woke up to this beautiful gift from my daughter Shalom. These kids seem to know how much I love their mother and how much she loves me. Happy 10th wedding anniversary @BarbieItungoK

Right after nomination, Bobi Wine was violently arrested outside nomination venue! He's been brutalised by police and military. They've blocked him from proceeding to launch his manifesto at office. It's clear Museveni & his regime are in so much panic. WE SHALL OVERCOME Admin

This morning, I beat so many road blocks which had been mounted to block me from getting to Jinja to speak on radio. On hearing my voice , they surrounded the station and fired teargas & bullets to disperse the multitude of residents who came to show solidarity. We shall overcome

This day, we join the world in commemorating mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela. For her beliefs, she was tortured, subjected to house arrest, kept under surveillance, held in solitary confinement and banished. Yet in all this, she did not give up or turn back.

The will of God will never take you where His grace will not sustain you. The hand of God will never take you where His arms will not support you. This is our confidence through all trials and tribulations

Very delighted that our brother @KakwenzaRukira is safely out of Uganda- and hopefully now safe from Museveni and his murderous son. Kakwenza joins thousands of Ugandans in exile in different countries. My conviction is that they will soon return home, because FREEDOM IS IN SIGHT

Last night at the Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam, our documentary was watched by hundreds of people. Such a humbling experience to see the love and solidarity! Glad that through this film, the world is getting to understand the criminal enterprise which rules our country.

The world definitely is poorer without you. Rest in peace, PELE.

This morning, the home of my elder brother, Nyanzi Fred was attacked by heavily armed security operatives travelling in a 'drone'. They put all family members on gun point. Sensing danger, Nyanzi was able to escape, but they took his adopted son, Happy Mugisha. The intimidation!

Do not struggle against your oppressor in the style that he designed for you. He controls the options so you won't get far. Don't follow the rules of your oppressor, they're meant to keep you captive and not to free you. Set your own rules or better still, set no rules at all.

Our plan to spend the night in Hoima was frustrated as police blocked all roads. We drove to Migera but police under DPC Patience Namara and OC Byaruhanga ordered all hotels not to host us. We had to spend the night on the roadside, sleeping in vehicles! In our own country!!!

Finally, dictators tend to blackmail citizens into thinking whoever opposes them hates their country. No! You can love your country to the moon but loathe the regime. When we reject shady deals purportedly made on our behalf, we're not against our country. We are for our country!
