@NUP_Ug Some regime apologists have been trying to divert the attention of the nation from the questions being asked. Too bad for them, they too are potential victims of the same system that is being accused of eating its own children. This must concern all of us.

Yesterday, met 5 comrades who were arrested on 10th Dec, 2020 in Arua Park for putting on the #PeoplePower berets. They were tortured and held at Mbuya barracks for weeks. They were charged before the military court and have been at Kitalya for close to two years without trial.

The citizens are asking- is there an outbreak of ebola in Uganda, or is it a stunt being used to siphon public funds and money from donors? If there is an outbreak, does it only operate in schools? Our country is ruled by criminals who are not even competent to run a sub-county.

Always inspired to see members of our various chapters in the diaspora meeting often to discuss strategies for strengthening the chapters and the struggle back home in Uganda. Grateful to these comrades in South Africa for the mobilisation, and particularly to comrade Hon.… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

While #DictatorMuseveni celebrated 36 years ruling our country with the gun, our leaders gathered in Luwero to pray for the souls of hundreds of thousands who died in the war. As always, the military disrupted the event with teargas and live bullets!

He was Walugembe Mukaabya, later named Mutesa 1 after he reformed. It's his prime minister who was Kayiira Ssentamu Salongo Mumazi wa bbanja (son of Nabembezi), later named Kamalabyona, a reformist katikiro. He is my great great great grandfather. He's buried in Senge Wakiso. twitter.com/cobbo3/status/…

Earlier, went to Kololo Hospital to see Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde who has been admitted there for days after his arrest. Police increased deployment & blocked us despite protests from his family. Minutes later, they whisked him away! We struggle to end injustice by all and to all

5 days later journalist @BahatiRemmy's relatives who were picked up are yet to be produced in court! Regime officials confirmed they 'have' them! The sham Uganda Human Rights Commission confirmed their detention. Why are they silent about their illegal detention beyond 48 hours?

Scenes today as military police invaded the election of new Committee members of the @Makerere Convocation — an association of alumni and current staff. Elite or un-educated, none of us is safe until we're all safe! Any Vice Chancellor worth their salt would be resigning by now!

This world would never be the same if you were not born, atleast not for me. The world will never know how much of an inspiration you are to me. You transformed me and gave me a new meaning of life. You have been the wind beneath my wings every time I fly.
