Some of our leaders deployed to guard the vote in Kayunga at the police station. Last night the military arrested and detained many of others. Military regimes like Museveni's do unthinkable actions in their evenings. This is not a sign of strength.

Samuel Masereka was tortured to near death in Jan. He filed a case before the High Court on 8th Feb. Since then, the matter has never been even fixed for hearing. Instead, operatives have been hunting him and threatening him to withdraw the case or face consequences!

Kassim Migadde was picked up by a 'drone' on Dec 10th 2020. Gravely tortured and then charged before the military court with putting on a red beret. He has spent a full year and one month under illegal detention! Today, he was released on bail.
