It has come to our notice that regime operatives are going around villages throwing printed and hand-written notices of this nature, threatening to cause harm to people in our name. These are usual NRA bush-war tactics which our people should ignore and treat with contempt.

It's with grief that I learnt of the passing of Omulongo Jajja Babirye, a long time supporter and comrade in the struggle to free Uganda. Grateful that I was able to check on her recently and witness her unwavering faith that our country would see a new day soon.

A fuel crisis orchestrated by the regime's poor planning and extortionist approach to COVID. Parents unable to take children to school over hiked fees. Unexplained school fires. Hawkers, bodas and other low income earners hunted down. Regime's response? Propaganda against NUP!

My home is still surrounded by the military- under house arrest. In Kayunga, #DictatorMuseveni showed up surrounded by military trucks. In Kampala, there's heavy deployment too. The illegitimate regime fears the people. The PEOPLE will eventually win.

Yesterday, we checked on our elder, mzee William Byarugaba aka Jajja NUP. Mzee Byarugaba heads our Elders Wing and continues to do a great job educating the nation. Lately he has been sick, but we thank God who has sustained him. Praying for a full and quick recovery🙏🏾

WHERE IS HE? On 3rd June, 2019, Johnbosco Kibalama who was 39 years of age was waylaid and snatched off the streets by gun-wielding men, along Gayaza Road. To date, no one knows where he is! He was a #PeoplePower activist, who was preparing to run for office. #BringBackOurPeople

The World Bank is calling on Uganda to scrap tax on social media & mobile money. Never made sense before and now! (openknowledge.worldbank.org/handle/10986/3…) In March, I raised this in Parliament. It was ignored- b'se the regime doesn't care about the plight of the people- only its stay in power.
