Comrade Musa is a young man we found in Bududa at a burial recently. Today he checked on us at the @NUP_Ug head office to say hello, and receive gifts donated by friends and comrades. Let's labor to extend love and mercy to all, especially in this holy month of Ramadan.

I am so grateful for your true support kablaza @PatriqKanyomozi. I am so glad you were born today, but even 'gladder' that you also brought forth for us those beautiful photocopies of you. Happy birthday brother.

On this International Workers' Day, I thank all workers who make incredible sacrifices to build our nation. In a special way, I salute the frontline health workers and other medical professionals who each day lay their lives on the line for us amidst very difficult conditions.

Join me friends on 27th September for an online #FreedomFestival titled "Change through Music”. I will be performing alongside Adé Bantu (Nigeria); Zolani Mahola (South Africa); and the Miagi Youth Orchestra (South Africa).

Finally, after ten days of trying in vain to see my brother Hon. Zaake, I've seen him at Rubaga Hospital where he was rushed on release. He's still in too much pain, but at least out of their hands. The Museveni regime will never have the last laugh. The People of Uganda will!

You can kill the messenger but you can never kill the message. You can imprison the body, but you can never imprison the idea. Address the issues being raised instead of hounding people into jail cells, because that has not worked before and it will not work now. #TruthToPower

#DictatorMuseveni faced with so much pressure, hired a big group of people to run multiple social media accounts to promote his regime of blood and shame! They engage in coordinated attacks against his opponents & brand them foreign agents while praising his corrupt, inept regime

An old photo of cde. Kavuma Jamushid holding portraits of departed comrades — statistics of dictator Museveni’s murderous response to opposition. We demand to know where Jamushid is and who is holding him! #FreeJamushid #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners #BringBackOurPeople

Yesterday in Bukasa, Temangalo, 'security operatives' moving in the notorious drones shot two citizens! The crime of the driver was trying to overtake the drone. Incidentally, there is a section of paid NRM apologists, who continue to defend this lawlessness. WE SHALL OVERCOME!

Yesterday, we joined comrades and the media fraternity to mourn the late Sadurni Carrasco Sumaya 'Sumy' who passed away early this week. I once again send my sympathies to her family, and the International Press Association of Uganda. May God grant our friend's soul eternal rest.

Right now dozens of soldiers, police officers have surrounded my premises at One Love Beach Busabala where we were organising a show on Boxing day. Some staff arrested, sound and stage engineers being ordered to pull everything down despite the parlimantary resolution last week.

Saddened by the brutal treatment of Hon. Patrick Amuriat by ASP Asiimwe. Asiimwe defines this regime and its attitude- HATRED, DESPERATION and FEAR. Justice may seem too slow, but it will eventually come Standing in solidarity with you Hon. Amuriat & wishing you a quick recovery

Violence meted out on our leaders in Kayunga. Several severely injured. Hon. @ZaakeFrancis has been badly beaten by SFC soldiers and he's now currently admitted at a hospital in Jinja. The most critical question to #DictatorMuseveni- if you fear elections, why organise them?
914
WHERE IS HE? For now, I'll conclude with Kirya Peter who was 28 at the time of abduction in 2020, Kyebando. He left a 5yr old. I hope these stories give perspective to our struggle for freedom & democracy. We must soldier till Uganda is FREE from the madness. #BringBackOurPeople

We concluded our two-day retreat with @NUP_Ug leaders from different parts of the country. We discussed various issues of interest including the Party's Code of Conduct, the Sexual Harassment Policy, etc. We re-energised ourselves for the next phase of the struggle!
917
Today, our Members of Parliament took a firm stand against the brutal arrest and detention of Hon. Allan Ssewanyana and Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya. We promised to use Parliament as one of the many fronts in our struggle against the abuse of rights and the rule of law.

On 10th March, military operatives raided offices of the Alternative DIGITALK TV, an Online TV and abducted nine of its staff. To date, no body has been allowed to access them! We demand for their immediate and unconditional release. This lawlessness must be resisted!

Our friend Ziggy Wine could not make it. He passed on last night- succumbing to injuries sustained after a horrendous encounter with kidnap & torture. Very painful! He joins other countless Ugandans. As we mourn him, we resolve to work even harder to end this. Rest well brother twitter.com/HEBobiwine/sta…

On Jamil Mukulu, regime propagandists are desperately trying to twist my words to fit their usual narrative! I'll clarify as follows; 1. Jamil Mukulu was arrested in April,2015. 8 years later, he hasn't been tried! Why is evidence not brought so that he's convicted or acquitted?
921
In Kasese, yet again the military and police unleashed incredible violence on unarmed citizens, leaving many with grave injuries. Their crime? Trying to come out and listen to our message! Messiah Radio which we booked for an evening program has been ordered to cancel the show!

This evening at Magere, we were delighted to receive back these four comrades who were released by the military court after spending two years under illegal detention at Kitalya. The four are Ronald Mayiga, Richard Nyombi, Shafik Ngobi and Kenneth Kamanya.
923
Today, we addressed the nation about the present crisis in our country! Hundreds of Ugandans are abducted each day and taken to unknown destinations where they are subjected to horrendous forms of torture, while others have died in those illegal detention centers.
924
Delighted to receive a delegation of leaders from Kalungu District led by area Members of Parliament Hon. Ssewungu Joseph Gonzaga (Kalungu West) & Hon. Katabazi Francis (Kalungu East). The team included elected leaders, mobilisation teams and other key stakeholders.

These @NUP_Ug supporters were abducted, kept incommunicado, tortured! Close to a month, we've been looking for them. Yesterday they were brought to a military court in absence of lawyers, charged with bogus charges and remanded! These crimes against Ugandans must be accounted for
