When I announced that we would pay the lowest security personnel 1m per month, the regime and its apologists said we were just being populist. They said it could not be achieved! Now, Gen. Museveni has since jumped on it and promised to implement it in the next financial year!

Earlier today, we commissioned the National Unity Platform / #PeoplePower Kunga Mobilisation Committees at our new Headquarters at Kavule. I charged the comrades to go back to their respective districts and mobilise our people for the revolution against the military regime.

But how can this become so normal in our country? Daily, we're treated to these criminal actions by thugs in uniform! Ordinarily, these are incidents that jolt citizens into action. I remain hopeful that one of these days, Museveni will press a button that will be his Waterloo.
