In response to a train derailment in Hualien, Taiwan, our emergency services have been fully mobilized to rescue & assist the passengers & railway staff affected. We will continue to do everything we can to ensure their safety in the wake of this heartbreaking incident.

This is my response to those who doubt Taiwan's existence:
It’s heartening to see such a caring show of support for our soldiers as they go through their training exercises. Some onlookers described the rumbling engine sounds as “reassuring”, making us so proud of the trust & respect our people have for the military.
On May 17th, 2019 in #Taiwan, #LoveWon. We took a big step towards true equality, and made Taiwan a better country. 🏳️‍🌈
