It’s impossible to convey the profundity of the moment in therapy when you make contact with the betrayed, damaged &/or brutalised child you used to be. Grown men, still desperately denying their own vulnerabilities & pain, attacking Harry for talking about it are truly pitiable.

This is really good. twitter.com/Martha_Gill/st…

Absolutely. And the harder you find it to be vulnerable or 'wrong', the harder therapy is... twitter.com/Damian_Barr/st…

Very impressed by Tom Bradby. If William is watching, I don't think he could find much fault with how this interview has been conducted. And similarly, I think Harry will feel he's been treated fairly but robustly. That's quite an achievement for an interviewer in this situation.

This might be the most compelling & convincing critique of British media ever provided by someone who really knows what it’s like to be in their jaws. Fascinating & tragic that they have all the papers on display in every palace every day. No wonder they’re so obsessed by it.

Also, William looked a bit shit with a beard.

Wow. He’s completely together, sorted & clear. Articulate, compassionate, empathetic & at peace. It’s incredible to watch. The maddest thing is that the more he’s boiling your piss, the more you’d benefit from the sort of therapy that’s set him so free. Not even missing Midsomer!

They get a call from a ‘journalist’ who asks for a comment on a story they have completely misrepresented and then they get their name in tomorrow’s paper. Next, they get calls from TV & radio inviting them to repeat all the bollocks on air & the actual facts don’t get a look in. twitter.com/A_Loyd_Times/s…

It remains astonishing how completely Harry’s critics unwittingly continue to prove his points. twitter.com/A_Loyd_Times/s…

They’ve binned a brand new Midsomer Murders for the Prince Harry interview & I’m really quite cross about it.
36
They invented an entire ministry to help Rees-Mogg come up with ‘Brexit benefits’. He produced a factually incorrect analysis of signage in the Dartford Tunnel & nothing else… twitter.com/Jacob_Rees_Mog…

Sunak’s managed to persuade the public that he has a private GP *and* that he’s too craven to admit it, potentially annoying absolutely everyone. That’s quite a balls up.
38
Sunak’s refusal to state what seems obvious - that he has a private GP - is a calculation. Confirming that he’s not reliant on the NHS in the same way that most of us are is politically tricky, obviously, but I think the obfuscation might actually be worse. Makes him look shifty.

It is, to say the least, odd to hear Jonathan Dimbleby fondly recalling his revelatory 1994 interview with Prince Charles while attacking Prince Harry for doing exactly the same in his book. Absolutely exquisite questioning, as always, by @MishalHusain on @BBCr4today.

A tiny drop of spirited defence in an ocean of abuse of Prince Harry for having the audacity to take control of his own story instead of forever dancing to Fleet Street’s diabolical tune… l-bc.co/3Cv9218

I keep preparing to share profound insights into how the Royal family works & why they are doing the things they are doing - and then I remember that my knowledge is based entirely on watching a few episodes of The Crown. (This makes me at least as qualified as most commentators)

The only thing we need to understand about Harry & Meghan is that if they don’t tell their story themselves, it will be told instead by ‘journalists’ whose livelihoods depend on denigrating them.

Lynch really is a joy to interview, even perhaps especially in areas of disagreement. Clear, concise answers to all questions & no attempts to evade or obfuscate. He does his membership proud which, as he makes abundantly clear when given a chance, is what matters to him most… twitter.com/IndyPolitics/s…

Put your questions directly to Mick Lynch tomorrow morning from 11am.

The trickle of articles by right-wing loonbuckets trying to blame what they’ve done to the country on anyone but themselves is going to become a flood in 2023, isn’t it? What a time to be alive.
