3/ The scheme, open to any employer in the country, will cover the cost of wages backdated to March 1st and will be open before the end of April for at least 3 months. There's no limit on the funding available for the scheme, we will pay to support as many jobs as needed.

To protect hospitality and tourism jobs, the 5% reduced rate of VAT will be extended for six months to 30th September. And even then, we won’t go straight back to the 20% rate. We’ll have an interim rate of 12.5% for another six months. #Budget2021

The Illegal Migration Bill ensures that if you come to the UK illegally you can’t stay. People must know that coming here illegally will result in their detention and swift removal – once they do, they will not come, and the boats will stop.
