Through the Barnett formula we're increasing Scottish Government funding, next year, by £4.6bn, Welsh Government funding by £2.5bn, and £1.6bn for the Northern Ireland Executive. The largest block grants for the devolved administrations since the devolution settlements of 1998.

To support theatres, orchestras, museums & galleries the tax reliefs for all those sectors will – from today until April 2023 – be doubled. We won’t return to the normal rate until 2024. That’s a tax relief for culture worth almost a quarter of a billion pounds. #Budget2021
