I was once rejected from a job I was scouted for bc I didn’t have enough Fan Art. They said
“You’ll be working with so much existing IP we don’t feel like you would have fun here”
I could have worked in Naruto and DBZ if I had more fan art.

The folks @CorridorDigital stole artwork from a beloved animated film ran it thro AI, put that on top of their live action and made bank on youtube for it. All to show new ways to exploit artists and "create" on the backs of animators.*

This isn’t something I want to talk about, but I haven’t seen anyone talk on this. The fashion company Moncler used Ai/Ml for their new brand, but by doing so put out POC models out of work.

This is why it’s so important to fight for ethical Ai.
Right now we need to fight for ethics. This should be our main goal.

A lot of AI ppl are aggressively going thro my twter to find fan art to say fan art is theft.
So for my own amusement I'm going to post book covers I've done strictly of men, bc the thought of them having to look at all my sexy covers to find fan art makes me smile.

I want to address the thought that Ai looks “terrible”.
These are all Ai/Ml
Down to mobile apps that are simple like Dream to complex ML like Stable.
If it’s not regulated everything we draw will directly go to making their ML better. You probably haven’t done the research..

I am curious with the new info that this was trained entirely on Vampire Hunter D by a Japanese studio, that Tom and Tony would say something different.
It feels like Tom and Tony were not asked about the important questions like copyrighted works and using without permission.

Instead of calling artists gatekeepers, why not leave the ones alone that don't want to be apart of AI/ML?
Use the disney artists that are okay with this. More than 3 disney artists have said it's okay to use their art and animations. Use there artwork, train AI on them, not us
