For the first time ever, Suga Kenta (who played the 1st Gen Hinata Shoyo) will be directing this production. In the announcement, he expresses that the Haikyuu!! production changed his life.

と as in “and”, as in “anime sequel AND a 2 part-movie”. Different from the Haikyuu accounts.

"Haikyuu!! Final" will be a 2-part movie production, which will be the sequel to the anime. The official website has added a "Movie" section in which the official PV is played.
It is set to be released in Aug 2023.
