I personally don't think Russia has the ability or time to siege #Kyiv with the intent to starve or bomb it into submission. Supplies would still get in (like the 1992-96 Siege of Sarajevo) They are running out of time, losing political support in Russia & soldiers dying everyday

For the record. As a student of urban warfare (author of a book on it), there is no way in HELL Russia, even with Belarusian troops (not going to happen, would be the end of Lukashenko), could make an attempt at Kyiv again. That would be a blood bath and epic faliure for Russia.

It will get down to 28 degrees tonight in Kyiv. Reports of Russian soldiers suffering frostbite. They are demoralized. Weather like this exacerbates all bad thoughts. We will see more fragging (purposely injuring their officers), slowness, & maybe mutiny. They are weak right now.

"Never again" has to mean something. This is our moment. Our generation's moment to prevent evil. What is going on in #Ukraine️ cannot be allowed to continue. What we are doing is NOT enough. Russia most be stop. Today! #ArmUkraineNow twitter.com/auschwitzxhibi…

"more than 500 thousand Ukrainians, including 121,000 children were forcibly transferred to russia’s territory. Such actions of the Russian invaders can be qualified as kidnapping and require a resolute response by the international community..." Ambassador Sergiy Kyslytsya

Big news coming. Large formations of Russian soldiers reportedly to be surrendering in the Kherson front. twitter.com/YAmzallagh/sta…

What does Russia have left? I was playing with some numbers last week. The real question is what does Russia really have in storage? Is the equipment even there, is it useable? #RussiaUkraineWar

The more the free world supports Ukraine with the weapons and aid they need to continue to defeat Russians in Ukraine, the faster the war will end the only way it can, with Ukrainian Victory. #ArmUkraineNow

Prepared urban defenders have the advantage. In 2016, it took over 100,000 security forces 9 months to take Mosul against 5 to 10,000 ISIS. It took hundreds of thousands of Soviets to take Stalingrad. Russia doesn't have the numbers. Kyiv can hold. Ukraine can win. #urbanwarfare

Russian military forces withdraw from sovereign Ukraine land (1991 borders) and then negotiation and peace talks can begin.

I agree with @POTUS statement on Taiwan. Clear. Bold. We will intervene militarily to defend Taiwan. Stop "walking back" statements. One China policy is not One China principle. If the international rules based order is not upheld, it all unravels.

We need to stop talking about sending these weapon systems. Ukraine is at a tipping point in multiple locations and these long-range rocket systems could be the deciding factor. They need them today, not weeks from now. #UkraineRussiaWar cnn.com/2022/05/26/pol…

Thoughts on the situation in Ukraine and the battle of Kherson that began weeks ago. Ukraine is poised to achieve the biggest operational victory since the Battles of Kyiv (IMO the only decisive/strategic victory), Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, &others.🧵1/14 newsweek.com/ukraine-himars…

Just amazing. President Zelensky visited not just the front line, but the hottest spot in Ukraine, the meat grinder (of Russian forces). What a risk. What a morale boost to the Ukrainian soldiers. It would be amazing, huge honor, to have that flag displayed in halls of Congress! twitter.com/Flash_news_ua/…

Russian soldiers surrendering in mass. It is their best option. Unlike how their leaders treat them, they will be treated humanely (even with calls home to their families) in Ukrainian care. twitter.com/WarMonitor3/st…

"This stuff [weapons] needed to be there 2 months ago...No, it's [$1 billion] not enough, it's enough when we get to a point where Ukraine says 'ok I have so much I can't field it'...they're not getting it fast enough and they don't have enough of it" ... My talk w/ @BBCWorld TV.

The world cannot cower to Putin's terrorist threats. He only understands power. @POTUS needs to send a public/clear message that if Putin uses any nuclear, biological, chemical weapon in Ukraine, the response will be direct, immediate, and catastrophic. THIS prevents nuclear war.

.@ZelenskyyUa says 90% of the pilots that risked all to deliver food, water, ammo, weapons to #Azovstal #Mariupol defenders, allowing them to hold for weeks, did not returned, gave the ultimate sacrifice for Ukraine, Europe, Freedom. Heroes! Legends! english.nv.ua/nation/russia-…
