We should line the halls of the upcoming @NATO summit with photos from Bucha. I want to see bold action from them next week. To include @POTUS Not just tough words, bold and immediate action. Ukraine is having to withdrawal in places because they are outgunned. That is wrong. twitter.com/DefenceU/statu…

I saw de-miners hard at work last week in the Kyiv area. Russians placed mines in place with no military purpose. Estimates that it will take 10 years to fully undue what Russia did just out of hate. More war crimes. twitter.com/KyivIndependen…

Keep it flowing. Weapons for Ukraine. They need it all and then some. twitter.com/DanLamothe/sta…

I saw scars of Russian war crimes everywhere. This school in Bohdanivka (near Kyiv) was occupied & then destroyed, booby trapped as they retreated. It’s also near where a Russian soldier (preliminary hearing in Ukraine today) repeatedly raped a woman after killing her husband.

And now Russia is just a terrorist state with a nuclear weapon. A bully trying to upset the global international order. A butcher committing genocide in Ukraine.

Russia has already lost in Ukraine. It failed to overthrow Ukraine’s democracy. It showed the world that their military is weak in major aspects of warfighting. Not the powerful military all thought it had become. It will take generations to recover from its strategic failures.

Legends. #Mariupol #Azovstal Interesting to see what was being brought in and what was being taken out. Warriors! twitter.com/UAWeapons/stat…

The Arsenal of Democracy is failing. Not enough or fast enough. Until every Ukrainian fighter has NATO quality helmet, body armor, night vision, weapon and fire support (mortars, artillery, rockets) and enough protected vehicles to move around the battlefield, we are failing them

Music in war. As old as war itself. I used music in my own combat tours in Iraq. To calm my mind. Music can motivate, heal, soothe and lift morale. I felt the will to fight, to fight to be free in every Ukrainian I met in Ukraine last week. twitter.com/Gerashchenko_e…

So what do I think about the American POWs in Ukraine? 1) They were members of the Ukraine Army & must be treated humanely & according to the laws of war. 2) They are American citizens & we should use all forms of U.S. national power to demand/obtain their immediate release.

100% agree, don't ask Russians to open the ports. Demand it and do it. twitter.com/michalrachon/s…

My "Mini-Manual for the Urban Defender" in Ukrainian continuing to be distributed by @nash_format to Army forces in Eastern Ukraine. Now that I've visited territorial & army forces in Kyiv, I have lots of ideas on what to add. Digital still available here: johnspenceronline.com/urban-warfare

"This stuff [weapons] needed to be there 2 months ago...No, it's [$1 billion] not enough, it's enough when we get to a point where Ukraine says 'ok I have so much I can't field it'...they're not getting it fast enough and they don't have enough of it" ... My talk w/ @BBCWorld TV.

During my visit to Bucha on Saturday we walked the ground and discussed the events behind the photo. Incredible accomplishment by Ukraine early in the Battle of Kyiv. Use of restrictive terrain. Close ambush. ATGMs, Artillery, irregular forces. Trapped Russians. #SlavaUkraini

I 100% agree. NATO and UN should have directly intervened after Bucha. They should intervene to relieve the Ukraine ports so Ukraine food supplies can get to the world. Never again has to mean something. twitter.com/KyivPost/statu…

I was in Bucha on Saturday spending time with the Bucha community defenders. They have suffered as a community and people, but they remain ready and constantly preparing to continue to fight. A feeling I felt everywhere I visited in Ukraine with @LiamSCollins #Bucha

Sad to hear of Roman’s passing. He was a regular with us @walter_report sharing his valuable time to talk to us. What a hero. RIP brother. twitter.com/ngumenyuk/stat…

I will take so much from visiting #Kyiv The beauty and resilience of the people. A national identity of fighting for freedom. A complex feeling of seeing them at war, scars of their resistance everywhere, but also wanting to be without fear — to laugh, love, and live. @lapatina_

This is so frustrating to see. The horrors inflicted on the people of #Bucha I was there just two days ago. The people still ready to fight. They have suffered so much. We (the West) must arm the Ukrainian military with what they need (MLRS, Artillery, ammo, armor, trucks) now! twitter.com/AP/status/1536…

And of course I couldn’t visit Ukraine without spending some time with my friend and warrior @MalcolmNance

On my way back from Ukraine now. At a loss for words in all that I saw studying the Battle of Kyiv. We visited Bucha, Irpin, Moshchun, Brovary, Skybyn, Demydiv, Ivankiv and many other sites. Speaking to commanders, fighters that defended the city. #Ukraine #urbanwarfare

Four-point peace plan for Ukraine (updated). And no, I don't care how much the Russian government and military is embarrassed, they have committed awful war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. Evil deeds cannot go unchecked.

"Responsible gun owners are fed up with the Second Amendment being abused and hijacked by some deranged individuals. These regulations are not a step back, they're a step forward." Amen! All of this. Raise the minimum age, enforce waiting periods, enact red flag laws. twitter.com/mmpadellan/sta…

"There hasn't been a greater global threat to the world since Hitler...this is why we have to continue our support at a very large scale...why is Russia on the UN Security Council? They're the biggest threat to global security since WWII." My comments @thereidout @JoyAnnReid

My wife says this is the face I make when I am mad at her. Well it is the face when I’m also mad at the evil that Putin is doing, committing genocide against the Ukrainian people and holding Ukraine’s food exports ransom causing a global crisis! w/ @JoyAnnReid @thereidout
