Apologies, I should have been clearer about the definitions. Yuzuru Hanyu will be continuing as a pro skater, meaning he is retiring as a competitive skater and continuing to skate (generally in ice shows and the like)

Y: I don't like the word retire and I don't like to use it much. In an interview when I was 16-17, I was asked 'what happens when you win 2 Olympics', I said 'it's the start from there', and I think I'm there now

To Yuzu, he doesn't intend to make huge changes, he will still go after his ideals. He wants to take responsibility for his decisions & be able to acknowledge his continuing activities, including the 4A and he still strongly wants to succeed at landing it in front of everyone
