1. His free leg takes off at this pt
2. Meaning his takeoff foot only pre-rotates to this angle
3. Technically you can pre-rotate until 90 degrees on the Axel
4. But the feeling of taking off from #4 vs #2 is totally different

5. The takeoff motion is generally when momentum is going up but when you need to rotate, your body closes bc you're turning like in #5. He doesn't do that for his 4A (body is still open when he takes off bc of less PR) & that's why it's difficult to complete the rotations
