You may remember Miller as the guy who lied under oath about the NYPD's policies of surveilling Muslims post-9/11. It's absurd that CNN is hiring him, but not at all surprising. twitter.com/CNNPR/status/1…

This photo is from a speech in which Trump accused Democratic members of congress of hating the country, but sure thing. twitter.com/brikeilarcnn/s…
5
I feel like it should be a bigger deal that one of the biggest financial stakeholders in CNN donated to a Trump PAC that was created specifically to try to overturn the election. Why isn't it?

"The photo was staged!!!"
Yes. And? Where did they say it wasn't staged? They laid the documents out so they could take the picture, you goons.
8
On January 6, 2021, CNN had a chyron calling Trump's January 6 speech a "desperate coup attempt." And now the guy who funded that event owns CNN.

Garland has to prosecute Trump. There's just no excuse not to. I don't give a crap if his followers throw a little tantrum about it. He belongs in prison because he is a criminal. To not prosecute him is a betrayal.

@brikeilarcnn Know how many times you mentioned Marines when covering Trump giving this speech (in which he told Ilhan Omar/AOC/Rashida Tlaib, etc, to leave the country)? Zero. But sure, let's do 4 days of this with you yelling about Biden's speech.

Me,after seeing the trailer for Don't Worry Darling in theaters: Oh, that looks interesting. Might be worth checking out!
Me, after seeing the stories about that movie the past couple of days: I MUST SEE THE FILM THAT DROVE THIS COLLECTION OF WILDLY ATTRACTIVE PEOPLE TO MADNESS

And whoosh, January 6 funder John Malone had Harwood disappeared twitter.com/leahmcelrath/s…
17
@brikeilarcnn It is deranged that you're still on this. Just shredding your credibility.

This is not how "news" is supposed to work. This is everything wrong with "news." @brikeilarcnn is just one of John Malone's propagandists.
CNN has always been biased in favor of the right, but lately it's been taking a HARD right turn, veering into Fox/OAN/Newsmax territory.

Oz is now smearing two people who were wrongly convicted of murder, in case you're curious how his campaign is going. twitter.com/DrOz/status/15…

As @zpleat points out, this is *exactly* what Fox has always done: offer an opinion, then "report" the opinion that they put into the world as though it just emerged out of nowhere. From 2011: mediamatters.org/sean-hannity/f…

So this is something that started on right-wing sites, has been repeated by GOP politicians, and has been yelled about at school board meetings by Facebook-addled parents. Nobody is putting litter boxes in school restrooms. This is a figment of their imagination. twitter.com/HeartlandSigna…

This is insane, but it's what they do... in one direction only.
When Trump won in 2016, outlets hired a bunch of Republicans.
When Dems won in 2018... nothing
When Dems won in 2020... nothing
Republicans about to win in 2022... hire more Republicans.
It's a pattern. twitter.com/jeremymbarr/st…

I really think that sums up exactly where things are at right now with CNN's shift from being a right-leaning but mostly accurate place to get news... to becoming the OANN/Newsmax knockoff it is today twitter.com/ParkerMolloy/s…
